Research On The Influencing Factors Of Rural College Students’ Willingness To Return To Their Hometowns To Start Businesses Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

In recent years,the employment situation of college students is very grim,most of these college students are rural,but in general,these college students are more inclined to work in the city,and their willingness to return to their hometowns to start a business is not very high.College students going to the countryside to start a business can not only realize the personal value of success,but also provide all kinds of shortage talents for rural revitalization,drive the employment of idle labor in rural areas,increase the income of peasant families,and facilitate the dissemination of new ideas and technologies,thereby promoting the rapid development of rural areas.At present,China is vigorously developing the rural revitalization strategy and has achieved certain achievements,and the construction of rural areas requires the participation of rural talents.Rural talents are the most active factor in rural economic and social development,and they are also the leading geese and main force of rural revitalization.For a long time,the Party Central Committee and the State Council have attached great importance to the work of agricultural and rural talents,and have formulated a series of relevant policy documents.General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out more than once that in order to achieve "rural revitalization",the most important thing is to bring "talents" to "rural areas".Rural college students who return to their hometowns are very familiar with the situation in their hometowns,and at the same time,they are very aware of the innate advantages and acquired shortcomings of their hometowns,so rural college students who return to their hometowns to start businesses have more advantages than urban college students who go to rural areas to start businesses.Therefore,taking rural college students in Linyi City as the research object,guided by the theory of planned behavior,entrepreneurship theory and entrepreneurial ecosystem theory,and based on questionnaire survey data,this thesis empirically analyzes the influencing factors of rural college students’ return to their hometowns to start businesses under the background of rural revitalization,which has important theoretical and practical significance for enriching the influencing factors of rural college students’ return to their hometowns to start businesses and attracting college students to return to their hometowns.Based on the analysis of relevant literature,this thesis analyzes and studies the course and current situation of rural college students returning to their hometowns to start businesses under the current background of rural revitalization,and the current situation of rural college students returning to their hometowns to start businesses in Linyi City,and conducts descriptive statistical analysis of the basic situation of rural college students in the questionnaire data.The binary logit econometric model was used to empirically analyze the influencing factors of rural college students’ personal characteristics,family support,entrepreneurial education environment,personal entrepreneurial ability,policy support,and rural entrepreneurial environment on their willingness to return to their hometowns to start businesses.Finally,according to the research conclusions,countermeasures and suggestions to improve the willingness of rural college students to return to their hometowns to start businesses are proposed.The findings suggest family support factors.Entrepreneurial education environmental factors,personal entrepreneurial ability factors,policy support factors,and rural entrepreneurial environment factors all have a positive correlation on rural college students’ willingness to return to their hometowns to start businesses.Age and major in the control variables had a positive correlation on college students’ willingness to return to their hometowns to start businesses,while the gender of the respondents and whether they were only children had no significant effect on their willingness to return to their hometowns to start a business.Based on the research results,this thesis puts forward the following countermeasures: first,improve the policy of rural college students returning to their hometowns to start businesses,second,continuously improve the education of rural college students returning to their hometowns to start businesses,and third,optimize the rural entrepreneurial environment.
