| After decades of efforts in the curriculum reform of basic education,the curriculum system of primary and secondary schools in China has been continuously improved,and the overall quality of primary school teaching has also been greatly improved.On this basis,the "Double reduction" policy has put forward higher requirements on homework quality,and the new curriculum standard for compulsory Chinese education has further revealed the importance of thinking skills in Chinese learning.However,many primary school Chinese homework designs do not attach enough importance to the cultivation of higher-order thinking skills currently,which poses practical demands and challenges for homework designs aimed at the development of higher-order thinking skills.This study focuses on the development of higher-order thinking skills and primary school Chinese homework design.By combining theory with practice,this study exploraed three main aspects: the research status of homework design pointing to the development of higher-order thinking skills,the concept and concept explanation of homework design pointing to the development ofhigher-order thinking skills,the current situation and problems of primary school Chinese homework design pointing to the development of higher-order thinking skills and the experience that can be used for reference,and puts forward targeted suggestions for primary school Chinese homework design pointing to the development of high-level thinking ability.The theoretical part analyzes the relationship between the development of higher-order thinking ability and Chinese homework design,defines the concept of Chinese homework design in primary schools that points to the development of higher-order thinking skills and explains the value pursuit,elements and basic points of Chinese homework design in primary schools that points to the development of higher-order thinking skills by combining the related theories of higher-order thinking and the requirements of current curriculum standards for the cultivation of thinking ability.In the practical part,through content analysis and case analysis of 78 primary school Chinese homework designs,the current situation,problems and experiences of primary school Chinese homework designs were examined from the perspective of higher-order thinking skills.Based on the above work,the following conclusions can be drawn: Examining the current situation of Chinese homework design in primary schools from the perspective of the development of higher-order thinking ability,we can find that the current high-order thinking ability of Chinese homework design in primary schools is not directional and focuses on knowledge understanding training;There are some problems,such as simple operation form and weak overall planning consciousness,low-level basic operation design satisfying low-level cognitive goals,and low-level developmental operation design.On the other hand,some typical homework design cases that reflect the development direction of high-order thinking ability are also worth learning from in the aspects of homework design structure,organization and presentation form,such as prominent theme,progressive hierarchy,simple topic logic,intuitive presentation form,vivid material subject matter,and emphasis on the transfer and extension of knowledge.According to the above findings,this study puts forward some suggestions on the design of Chinese homework in primary schools,which point to the development of high-order thinking ability from both concept and practice.On the conceptual level,it is necessary to establish a correct concept of higher-order thinking development,understand the law of thinking development so as to promote the development of students’ higher-order thinking,clarify the objectives and attributes of Chinese homework design that point to the development of higher-order thinking ability,and implement the thinking ability objectives of Chinese homework design in combination with the requirements of the new curriculum standard.On the practical level,some suggestions are put forward,such as focusing on conceptual knowledge,optimizing homework structure and presentation form,and selecting real and novel homework materials. |
