| With the rapid development of science and technology today,developing students’ higher-order thinking is an inevitable requirement of social development,student development and new curriculum reform,and has important practical significance.Classroom teaching is the main way to develop students’ higher-order thinking,but good teaching effect needs effective teaching design as the foundation and support.Therefore,this study explores "high school chemistry teaching design based on developing students’ higher-order thinking",analyzes and summarizes the teaching design ideas that can develop students’ higher-order thinking by referring to the five elements of higher-order thinking in chemistry and combining with five kinds of higher-order thinking activities,and designs corresponding teaching design cases.It is expected that high school chemistry teaching will help students to develop higher-order thinking and progress.As a consequence,this paper research areas mainly focus on the following points: First,the questionnaire were compiled and issued to understand the development status of senior one students’ higher-order thinking in chemistry.Then conclusions were drawn and suggestions were given to provide reference for the subsequent design by analyzing the data.Second,the design idea of developing higher-order thinking in chemistry and specific operation is put forward,as well as the design principle and overall design strategy,in combination with the five high-level activities of "generalization and correlation","explanation","analysis and evaluation","design verification" and "inference and prediction".Certainly,the characteristics of high school chemistry teaching were also taken into account.On this basis,three cases of "iron compounds","properties of chlorine" and "transformation of sulfur-containing substances" were selected to carry out the design,and the teaching practice of "properties of chlorine" was carried out.After the teaching practice,the experimental class and the control class were tested,and SPSS 22 was used to analyze the test data.And interviews with students,analyze and reflect the teaching practice effect from the aspects of students’ interest and attitude,thinking influence,and students’ suggestions.The study shows that the teaching design of chemistry based on developing students’ higher-order thinking can more effectively promote the development of students’ higher-order thinking in chemistry,improve students’ study enthusiasm and the activity of thinking.At the same time,it can also enhance students’ sense of teamwork,enhance their ability of innovation and problem solving,which is of great significance to promote the development of students’ core accomplishment of chemistry. |
