The education in China aims to cultivate well-rounded socialist builders and successors.With the advancement of curriculum reform,promoting the nurturing and development of students’ core literacy is the key to realizing the purpose.Cultivating students’ core literacy in physics is a concretization of the core literacy theory in physics teaching.Scientific attitude and responsibility literacy is one of the core literacies in physics.As an important part of physics education,the history of physics contains not only physical knowledge but also a rich humanistic spirit.Integrating the history of physics into junior secondary physics teaching is one of the important ways to develop students’ attitudes and responsibility literacy.The introduction of core literacy can be traced back to1979,when the British Institute of Further Education(IFE)laid down the key techniques for vocational education.At the end of the 20 th century,with the specialization of the concept of core literacy,it became an international trend,to construct a framework for core literacy,to conduct research on core literacy theories and teaching models,based on national conditions.The relatively leading countries are Australia,Canada,New Zealand,the United States,the United Kingdom and so on.Research on core literacy has started late in China,and specific methods for implementing core literacy theory are not yet perfect.By reading a large amount of domestic and international literature,and combining theories of pedagogy and psychology related to the subject study,the author has made a detailed study of the teaching of the history of physics in secondary school physics,the performance of students’ scientific attitudes and responsible literacy,and students’ learning of the content of the history of physics.The research process began with an analysis of the history of physics content in textbooks,followed by the use of a questionnaire,which was administered to teachers and students respectively.The data were analyzed by SPSS software to understand the current implementation of the teaching of the history of physics and the students’ scientific attitudes and responsible literacy.The results of the software analysis showed that the questionnaires returned formed data with very high reliability,indicating the generality of the findings.Based on the results of the survey,and taking into account of the status quo of physics history teaching,it is proposed to optimize the teaching of physics by integrating the historical materials of physics into the middle school physics teaching,so as to help students solve the difficulties encountered in the process of physics learning and strengthen the scientific attitude and responsibility of students.The main structure of this paper includes: Chapter 1 is the introduction,including the background of the topic research,the purpose of the topic research,the significance of the topic research,the main research methods,the innovations and the current status of research on the teaching the history of physics at home and abroad.Chapter 2 is the definition of the relevant concepts of the research,including the definition of the history of physics and the concepts related to the content of scientific attitude and responsible literacy,as well as the theoretical basis of the research,which includes learning psychology,educational re-enactment theory and constructivist learning theory.Chapter 3is a survey and analysis of the content of textbooks,the teaching situation of the history of physics and the current situation of students’ learning,as well as a case study of teaching practice in relation to the current situation.Chapter 4is based on core literacy,proposing optimal teaching suggestions for integrating the history of physics with secondary school physics teaching to strengthen students’ scientific attitude and responsibility literacy.The last section is a conclusion and outlook.
