The new curriculum reform in the compulsory stage has given higher expectations to information technology teaching in junior high school.Under the new historical conditions,classroom teaching must focus on cultivating students’ comprehensive literacy.However,if the teaching structure and classroom teaching mode do not change,it is difficult to achieve the learning goals and reform the teaching structure in the new curriculum standards for students.Therefore,this study attempts to apply the PAD class model in the classroom teaching of information technology in junior high school,in order to provide some reference for the reform of information technology teaching and frontline teaching of information technology.Under the guidance of instructional design theory,constructivism theory and humanistic learning theory,this research,mainly based on action research,combined with other research methods such as questionnaire survey,observation and interview,investigated the problems existing in the information technology class of Grade 7 of X Middle School in Nanchang City,Jiangxi Province in the early stage.On this basis,it designed the information technology teaching activity plan of junior high school based on the PAD class and applied it to classroom teaching.Through three rounds of action research,the teaching process was optimized,and the design process of PAD class teaching activities suitable for information technology in junior high school was explored to provide a possible path to solve the current problems in teaching.The results indicate that the design of teaching activities based on the PAD class can solve the current problem of single information technology teaching methods in junior high school,and can effectively enhance students’ learning interest;Narrowing the gap in information technology proficiency among students;Enhance students’ awareness of self-directed learning and self-reflection,promote teacher-student interaction and student-student interaction in the classroom.
