| At present,the development of artificial intelligence technology is becoming more and more mature,and the demand for artificial intelligence talents in all walks of life is increasingly strong.In this context,schools at all levels and of various types attach more importance to the teaching of artificial intelligence,and basic education plays a leading role in personnel training.The Ministry of Education has implemented relevant policies to promote the introduction of artificial intelligence courses into middle school campuses.In addition,STEAM education advocates discipline integration and knowledge integration,which on the one hand promotes the reform and development of education and teaching,and on the other hand promotes the cultivation of comprehensive talents,which is more in line with the practice of artificial intelligence education.Therefore,it is of great significance to the improvement of teaching practice and the development of basic education to discuss the curriculum design of artificial intelligence in junior high school from the perspective of STEAM.This paper comprehensively combs and studies the academic achievements of STEAM,analyzes and summarizes the existing experience of STEAM teaching practice.Under the guidance of STEAM concept and according to the existing teaching design model,the teaching model based on STEAM is designed,and the teaching activities of artificial intelligence courses are organized accordingly.The feasibility and effect of the model are tested by questionnaire survey and interview.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:In the first part,the evolution of artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence education is sorted out,the research question,direction and content are defined,the research method is determined,and the research process is designed.The second part is to search,sort out and analyze relevant academic achievements,define the main concepts involved in the research,clarify the specific theories supporting the research,and sort out and review the literature around STEAM.The third part,based on the STEAM theory,analyzes the teaching activity design of the artificial intelligence module of junior middle school information technology course,defines the specific principles of the design of the artificial intelligence course model,and establishes the teaching design framework.In the fourth part,according to the teaching and research needs,the artificial intelligence teaching model based on STEAM concept is designed according to the ADDIE model,and the teaching cases of three modes are developed for teaching practice.The fifth part tests the teaching effect and guides the practice based on the interview results.The research conclusion of this paper is that the artificial intelligence teaching design model is constructed under the theoretical guidance of STEAM,and the model is put into practice in the artificial intelligence course of junior high school.As a result,students’ enthusiasm for learning artificial intelligence is enhanced,their own programming thinking is strengthened,and students’ consciousness of independent learning and spirit of innovation are enhanced.Through the course learning,students’ interest in learning is stimulated and their knowledge and skills are enhanced,which lays a solid foundation for their future learning and highlights the educational value of STEAM theory in artificial intelligence courses. |
