The ability to evaluate others is a high-level ability based on the new concept of integrating learning and evaluation,focusing on the self growth of creators during evaluation.In 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the "Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education",which proposed in the content requirements module that "when browsing other people’s digital works,they can actively,sincerely,and kindly make comments." However,a survey found that the overall performance of Chinese primary and secondary school students in their ability to evaluate others is at a medium to low level.This study will construct a framework for peer review activities in the information technology classroom to cultivate their ability to evaluate others.This study first combs domestic and foreign literature on peer review and evaluation capabilities,and summarizes the evaluation dimensions of peer review capabilities.Based on literature research,it designs a framework for peer review activities aimed at cultivating students’ ability to evaluate others,combining teacher interviews,and the psychological characteristics of junior high school students.Secondly,it uses the action research method to conduct teaching practice in the seventh grade information technology curriculum in junior high school,and designs teaching plans based on textbook content,In activities,more feedback forms such as "where do you think this work can be modified to improve the quality of the work?" are used instead of results oriented evaluations,aiming to promote students’ cognitive feedback,reflective improvement,and other dimensions of evaluation ability.After each round of teaching practice,through the analysis of student works and comments,combined with student interviews and classroom observations,the teaching effect is reflected and optimized,and some suggestions are made on the implementation process.The framework is modified and improved based on the problems encountered in the research.Finally,a suitable and feasible peer review activity framework for the cultivation of the Evaluating-others ability is obtained through adjustment.This study has organized the evaluation index system for Evaluating-others ability.Through the analysis of students’ works,comments,and scale data,combined with classroom observations,personal interviews,and other data,it has been found that:(1)students have a positive attitude towards peer review;(2)The peer review activity framework for junior high school information technology courses can effectively cultivate students’ ability to evaluate others. |
