The 2022 new Curriculum standard of Information Technology defines the separate subject of information technology curriculum in the compulsory education stage,and clearly puts forward the digital innovation ability as one of its core literacy contents.Design thinking emphasizes the selection of real life issues as the theme of activities,and at the same time,it is implemented as an activity organization method.The characteristics of the design thinking show that it is very consistent with the cultivation of digital innovation ability.Based on the theoretical research of design thinking and the characteristics of junior middle school information technology teaching activities,this study puts forward the design form of teaching activities based on design thinking in junior middle school information technology curriculum and carries out practical verification,so as to provide reference for the cultivation of digital innovation ability in junior middle school information technology curriculum.This study first focuses on the main problem of "How to conduct teaching activities based on design thinking in junior middle school information technology curriculum",which is divided into three sub-problems:(1)How to construct the basic framework of teaching activity design in junior middle school information technology curriculum based on design thinking?(2)How to design specific teaching activities according to the basic framework?(3)what is the effect of teaching activities based on design thinking in junior middle school information technology courses?The research content of this study is as follows: Firstly,through literature review,the problems existing in the teaching of information technology courses in junior middle schools are summarized,the theoretical connotation,model and characteristics of design thinking are reviewed and sorted out,and the combination of design thinking and information technology courses is found.Then,based on the classical design thinking method,the design of junior middle school information technology curriculum teaching activities;Three rounds of teaching activities based on design thinking method are carried out iteratively in junior middle school information technology curriculum,and the results are analyzed and summarized,and the corresponding strategies and suggestions are put forward.The practice process of this research is to take the students of two classes of Grade 7 in XS Middle School of Jiangsu Province as the teaching experiment objects.According to the teaching task arrangement of the school,according to the main teaching contents such as the acquisition and management of network information,PPT making,multimedia-pictures,audio and video,presentation documents,etc.,the easy loss of meal cards close to students’ campus life is selected as the activity theme.Designing "Preliminary solution for easy loss of meal card","Designing a smart card sleeve for meal card" and "Making final plan report" as sub-tasks of the three rounds of teaching experiment.Through the design,implementation,evaluation and reflection of these three rounds of teaching activities,the design form of teaching activities created is iterated and improved constantly,and finally the design form of teaching activities based on design thinking is formed in junior middle school information technology curriculum.At the end of the whole teaching experiment,through questionnaire survey data,process data of learning task list,analysis of students’ works,interviews between teachers and students,etc.,the achievement of teaching objectives and satisfaction of teaching methods were analyzed.Through the analysis of three rounds of teaching practice and teaching effect,it is shown that the teaching activities based on design thinking in junior middle school information technology course can not only effectively promote students to master information technology knowledge and skills,but also have obvious effect on improving students’ digital innovation ability.Finally,the main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.It concludes that teaching activities based on design thinking should focus on pre-class objectives and in-class support.That is to say,before the activity,students should make clear the goal of their works to be submitted.During the activity,teachers should provide corresponding task lists and excellent cases as learning support in combination with the online classroom system.2.Design thinking can improve the teaching effect of junior middle school information technology.Design thinking allows students to empathize with information from their own perspective,so that they can deal with the problems they face more empathetic,and use information technology knowledge to analyze and solve the problems around them,so as to effectively achieve the teaching objectives and get good teaching results.
