Cultivating talents and scholars is the foundation of the country.As socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era,China’s higher education has also went enter a new stage of development.Under the new stage,the comprehensive reform of "three-wide education" is a key point to accelerate the construction of "double first-class" universities."Three-wide education" reflects the internal requirements of cultivating virtues and cultivating people.It also conforms to the current trend of talent training and the development law of ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era.In the process of carrying out ideological and political reform in colleges and universities,the comprehensive reform of "educating people through three aspects" is one of the key experimental areas.Under the background,it is the most concerning issues to effectively connect different aspects,actively mobilize all teachers and students,and truly realize the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and cultivating people without leaving any dead corners in the process of college talent training.The study of the comprehensive reform path of "double first-class" universities and "three-wide education" in the new era is not only conducive to giving full play to the demonstration and guidance in the education work of "double first-class" universities,but also making for accelerating the construction of world-class universities with Chinese characteristics to promote the further development of China’s higher education.In the new era,as "double first-class" universities and "three-wide education" have changed from integrated pilot reform to demonstrative guidance.There is a remarkable achievement that subject quality of education has been continuously improved,and that the scope and orientation space of education process has been persistently expanded.However,there are still some problems in the process of pilot reform.For instance,"full staff" is not in place,some "short board" and "whole process" have not been completed,"breakpoints" and "all-round" are not perfect,and some "blind areas" still exist.In order to further optimize the path of comprehensive reform of "double first-class" universities and "three-wide education" in the new era and enhance the effect of education,this paper firstly starts with an overview of relevant theories of "double first-class" universities and "three-wide education",and then analyzes related concepts such as "double first-class" universities and "three-wide education" comprehensive reform.The theoretical basis of the pilot comprehensive reform of "double first-class" universities and its value implication have been explored under the background of new era.Secondly,it makes a statistical analysis of the cases of the comprehensive reform of "double first-class" universities and "three-wide education" in the new era,summarizes the effects and existing problems in the pilot process,and analyzes the causes of the problems.Finally,focusing on top-level design,team construction,linkage efficiency and guarantee mechanism,this paper optimizes the practice route of the pilot comprehensive reform of "double first-class" universities in the new era,so as to improve the quality and level of college education,and cultivate new generation of the era who have great ambitions,bright morals,great talents and great responsibilities.
