Red culture is an advanced culture that began with the founding of the Communist Party of China,matured and developed during the period of China’s new democratic revolution and socialist modernization.Based on revolu tionary culture,it has been continuously enriched and developed in the process of integrating with socialist construction,reform and development.It reflects the thoughts and feelings of the Chinese people in pursuit of progress under the leadership of t he Communist Party of China.It is also an important carrier of the great national spirit and the spirit of the times of the Chinese nation since modern times.As an educational and teaching resource,red culture contains a powerful function of Ideological and political education and educating people.Integrating red culture into the teaching of Ideological and political course in senior high school is significant.Red culture is an advanced culture condensed in the process of the Communist Party of China leading the people of all ethnic groups to fight against imperialism and feudalism and develop and build a new China.It is also an indispensable part of the ideological and political teaching in senior high school.It is necessary and feasible to carry out red culture education for senior high school students and integrate red culture into Ideological and political teaching in senior high school.The necessity is that it is conducive to inherit and carry forward the red culture,enrich the teaching content of Ideological and political course in senior high school,and enhance the cultural confidence and national integrity of teachers and students in strengthening the basic function of Ideological and political education.The feasibility includes the attention of the party and the state to the inheritance of red genes,the richness and accessibility of red cultural resources,and the technical support brought by the development of science and technology.At present,the integration of red culture into ideological and political teaching in senior high school has achieved initial results,mainly including higher recognition of red culture by teachers and students,richer forms of educational activities of red culture,and increasingly prominent educational value of red culture to students.However,there are also some problems,such as simple integration content,rigid integration methods,inquiry deficiency,weak appeal,and obvious differences between urban and rural areas.There are many reasons,such as the li mitation of cognition,the examination oriented nature of education,the limitation of conditions and the negative impact of multiple values.In view of the above problems,under the guidance of the two principles of clarifying the priorities of teaching and grasping local characteristics,this study attempts to put forward the following optimized strategies for the integration of red culture into the teaching of Ideological and political course in Senior High School:first,select red materials according t o the teaching objectives,teaching objects and Textbook contents in pre class preparation;second,integrate red culture into classroom teaching or practical teaching in the new lesson,The third is to infiltrate red culture in classroom homework and pay attention to teaching evaluation during after-school follow-up.Only in this way can we help the red culture better integrate into the teaching of Ideological and political course in senior high school,and realize the continuation of the red gene while en hancing the teaching effect of Ideological and political course in senior high school.
