| In 2022,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "Standards for the Language Curriculum of Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)",which clarifies the specific requirements for cultivating new talents in this stage,defines the connotation of core language literacy from four aspects: cultural self-confidence,language use,thinking ability,and aesthetic creation,and puts forward the learning task group of "reading the whole book" in the compulsory education stage.Through research,project-based learning not only conforms to the development trend of the times and the core concept of the new curriculum reform,but also is highly consistent with the goals and values of the whole book reading.Introducing project-based learning theory to the whole book reading teaching in junior high school can provide new ideas and models for teachers to carry out whole book reading teaching,and improve some problems in the current whole book reading teaching in junior high school.Starting from the three stages of project initiation,project implementation and project summary,this research explores the application strategy of project-based learning in the reading teaching of Jane Eyre.The project initiation stage corresponds to the guide reading teaching of the whole book,and puts forward specific teaching strategies from four aspects: learning objectives,project plans,project themes,and driving problems,so as to promote learning with "guidance" and prepare for teaching in the project implementation stage.In the implementation stage of the project,teaching strategies such as creating scenarios,designing activities,expanding resources,collaborating between teachers and students,and providing scaffolds were proposed to promote students’ in-depth reading and ensure the smooth development of the project.The project summary stage corresponds to the evaluation and display course type,puts forward corresponding teaching strategies from the two aspects of display evaluation and improvement and summary,and provides display platforms,evaluation standards and scales to ensure the smooth progress of achievement display,evaluation and reflection.Finally,the proposed teaching strategies are used to try the teaching design and teaching reflection of the whole book reading of "Jane Eyre" under project-based learning.On the one hand,this study supplements and improves the theoretical application of project-based learning in whole book reading teaching,and on the other hand,provides new methods and paths for whole book reading teaching,improves teaching quality,and cultivates students’ comprehensive ability and literacy.In order to bring some inspiration to the reading teaching of the whole book of "Jane Eyre" from both theoretical and practical levels. |
