country;Education plays a fundamental and leading role in rural revitalization.In the context of high-quality education development and rural revitalization,rural education revitalization should be used to empower and increase efficiency in rural revitalization,and rural teacher professional upgrading should be used to improve the quality and efficiency of rural education.A team of rural teachers who can "go,stay,and teach well" is the cornerstone of promoting the high-quality development of rural education,and is an important force in promoting rural revitalization.Among this group,some rural teachers with qualities,abilities,and emotions have taken root in their rural posts,constantly achieved self transcendence in their work,persevered in contributing to the cause of rural education,and strive for excellence.They have written vivid footnotes of the times,serving as role models for rural teachers.In order to deeply explore the professional growth of outstanding rural teachers who have been teaching in rural areas for a long time,this study adopts narrative research methods and qualitative research paradigms to conduct research.Through purposive sampling,teacher C was selected as the research object,and relevant information on teacher C’s professional growth was obtained through interview,observation,and physical collection methods,with the intention of recalling and reproducing their professional growth stories,Grasp the professional growth process and the phased characteristics of each process,and analyze the main influencing factors of teacher C’s professional growth,so as to explore the main path for teacher C to become an excellent rural teacher,and draw some inspiration.This study consists of 7parts.The first part is an introduction.This part first explains the background reasons for the selection of the topic of "Professional Growth of Rural Teachers".It then clarifies the purpose and significance of the study;Then,the relevant research results of "Teacher Professional Growth","Rural Teachers’ Professional Growth" and "Excellent Teachers’ Professional Growth" were introduced to find the entry point of this research from the shortcomings of existing research,that is,the professional growth of excellent rural teachers.The second part is the first chapter of this article.This section provides a comprehensive design for the entire study.Firstly,focus on the main problems of this study and split them into three subordinate problems,and clarify the direction of research;The three core concepts of this study are defined: "Excellent Rural Teachers","Professional Growth of Teachers" and "Narrative Research",and clarify the connotation and extension of the concepts in the context of this study.The basic research ideas of this study are expounded,and the technical path of this research is shown in a flowchart.Secondly,it introduced the research methods used in this study,the selection criteria and basic information of the research subjects,and introduced the process of conducting research on-site;Finally,a brief explanation was provided on the validity,research ethics,and research promotion of this study.The third part is the second chapter of this article.This section traces the footprint of the professional growth of co-teachers.Through in-depth interviews,the professional growth process of research objects was divided into four periods: "farewell to the countryside","returning to the countryside","sticking to the countryside" and "feeding back the countryside",and the main growth stories of each period were recorded and the characteristics were analyzed by means of narrative and discussion.The narrative is interspersed with some interview content of leaders,colleagues and students to improve the credibility of the story,and the content of this article reflected in some physical materials is transcribed to verify with the personal narrative of Teacher C to provide factual support for subsequent analysis.Part Ⅳ is the third chapter of this article.This part analyzes the factors influencing the professional growth of teacher C.By reorganizing and sorting out the original data obtained from the interview,and coding the original interview content in the form of three in-depth forms of "open coding","spindle coding" and "selection coding",it is found that the main influencing factors of professional growth of research objects are "significant others","organizational support","professional reputation" and "personal cultivation".Part Ⅴ is the fourth chapter of this article.This part focuses on the basic path of professional growth of C teachers based on the previous research results.It is found that the path of professional growth is divided into internal-driven independent growth and external-driven strategic promotion,the two growth paths inside and outside go hand in hand.The former including emotional orientation,teaching reflection,lifelong learning,and improvement pattern.The latter includes study and internship during the middle school teacher,mentor-apprentice help after entry,teaching observation,grinding class competition,advanced training,and persistence in teaching and research.Finally,try to build a model for the professional growth of Teacher C.Part Ⅵ is the fifth chapter of this article.This part looks forward to the professional growth of outstanding rural teachers based on the results of the previous qualitative analysis.He pointed out that in the process of rural teachers growing into excellence,"others","organizations" and "individuals" are indispensable.As far as "others" are concerned,family support,peer relationships and public attitudes should play a role in promoting the professional growth of excellent rural teachers;As far as "organization" is concerned,salary incentives,platform building and public opinion guidance should be promoted in an overall manner in promoting the professional growth of outstanding rural teachers;As far as the "individual" is concerned,selffoundation,self-development and self-transcendence play an absolute role in promoting one’s professional growth towards excellence.The seventh part is the summary and outlook.This section summarizes the findings of the full text,reflects on the shortcomings of the research,and briefly looks forward to possible future improvements or refinements. |
