In the context of education reform,teachers' professional development has been a hot issue of education with the deepening development of education concept and the changing objects education.However,classroom teachers,as a special group among teachers,must pay more attention to their professional growth.But in practice,due to the existence of deviations in concept and attitude,“empirical” working pattern and “sideline” phenomenon are extremely common among classroom teachers.The working situation and the importance of classroom teachers reveal that classroom teachers must get professional development from negative and positive aspects.This paper adopts narrative research method,selecting two“excellent classroom teacher” those who are from S primary school and T primary school in Changsha respectively as the research objects.Through many interviews,observation and collection of raw data,then describing and reorganizing the teaching practice from these two classroom teachers,this research explore the professional development of teachers.This paper outline the teachers' present professional development situation which is drawn horizontally from four aspects--the transverse professional concept,professional ethics,professional knowledge and professional skills whilethe periodicity of teachers' professional development is revealed longitudinally from four stages--confused stage,adapting stage,mature stage and consciously growth stage.In accordance with the "success or failure attribution theory" of Weiner,the key factors of class teachers' professional development can be divided into four aspects--stable,internal and controllable factors which is related to classroom teachers' cognition,beliefs,personality,inner drive;stability,internal,uncontrollable factors which involves classroom teachers' temperament types and academic background;unstable,external and uncontrollable factors which are affected by key events and key figures;stable,external and uncontrollable factors which is concerned with family members' support and the school environment.The internal power is the core of classroom teachers' development,and the external support is the nutrients.The benign-interaction cycle of various factors help classroom teachers become excellent.
