the background,"revolution" as its intrinsic spiritual character,and the supremacy of the people as its consistent value orientation Chinese,and is an important part of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.It sprouted at the beginning of the founding of the Communist Party of China,formed in the period of the New Democratic Revolution,and enriched and developed in the period of socialist revolution,construction,reform and opening up.In the different historical periods of revolution,construction,reform and opening up,it has always been a powerful spiritual force that inspires the Chinese people to forge ahead.Especially in the process of cultivating young college students to grow into talents,it has always played an indispensable role in forging young college students’ firm ideals and beliefs,noble moral character and correct values.How to continue to give play to the leading role of revolutionary culture in the growth of college students in the new era,that is,how to integrate revolutionary culture into the ideological and political education of college students,is an urgent problem to be solved.The main structure of the entire thesis is divided into six parts,as follows:Part I: Introduction.This part mainly explains the background of the topic selection,research value,Review of domestic and foreign reserach status,and research methods,etc.and the core is to explain the importance and necessity of carrying out research on this topic.Part II: The Connotation of Revolutionary Culture and the Values of the Times.This part mainly explains the concept,characteristics and forms of revolutionary culture.Firstly,the comparative study of the two concepts of revolutionary culture and red culture in the current academic circles is analyzed,and the concept,characteristics and form of revolutionary culture are further clarified.Then the epochal value of revolutionary culture,that is,revolutionary culture has the epochal value of nurturing the original intention and mission of communists,strengthening the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese people,and nourishing the spiritual food of college students in the new era.Therefore,in this sense,revolutionary culture still plays a leading role in the ideological and political education of college students in the new era that cannot be ignored,which provides a theoretical possibility for
