| In March 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the latest curriculum standards,the new standards emphasize the implementation of the Party Central Committee and the State Council "double reduction" policy.Therefore,how to conduct a good Civics class,how to efficiently achieve the curriculum objectives,how to better enhance the quality of teaching,has become a problem that every teacher must seriously study.Especially in the remote township middle schools,let the morality and rule of law class play the maximum educational value is the goal that every Civic Science teacher must strive to accomplish.This paper studies how to effectively apply the experiential teaching method to improve the teaching quality of morality and rule of law class in township junior high schools,expecting that it will be helpful to improve the quality of morality and rule of law teaching in township junior high schools.This paper firstly composes the theories related to experiential teaching method,and then researches the important significance of applying experiential teaching method in morality and rule of law class in township junior high schools.Its important significance is mainly reflected in four aspects,including the requirements of core literacy,the play of students’ subjectivity,the establishment of harmonious teacher-student relationship and the improvement of classroom participation.Secondly,the current situation of the application of experiential teaching method was analyzed through questionnaire surveys of students in rural middle schools and interviews with teachers.There are four main problems in the process of application,including experience emphasizing the form of activities and neglecting the perception of activities;experience emphasizing the content of teaching materials and ignoring the reality of students’ life;experience emphasizing the teacher’s summary and lacking students’ active participation;and single evaluation of experiential learning;and there are many reasons for these problems,including not only the constraints of objective teaching environment and evaluation mechanism,but also the constraints of teachers’ teaching philosophy and personal ability and the constraints of students’ self-understanding and cognitive ability.There are many reasons for these problems,including not only the constraints of objective teaching environment and evaluation mechanism,teachers’ teaching philosophy and personal ability,but also the constraints of students’ self-understanding and cognitive ability.Finally,through the analysis of the current situation of application,the improvement measures for the application of experiential teaching method in the morality and rule of law class in township junior high schools are studied.From the teacher’s perspective,it is necessary for teachers to deepen their teaching concepts and make the experiential context richer by optimizing experiential resources so as to improve students’ sense of participation.From the students’ perspective,with more opportunities for classroom participation and better classroom assessment indicators,students are also more willing to integrate into the classroom.The conclusion uses a teaching case to demonstrate the application of experiential pedagogy in a rural junior high school ethics and rule of law course. |
