Abstract/Summary:
Labor education is an important part of China’s education system and has a profound impact on the physical and mental development of young children.In 2020,the Ministry of Education issued the "Guiding Outline of Labor Education in Universities,Secondary and Primary Schools(Trial)",which pointed out that it is necessary to "incorporate labor education into the whole process of talent training,enrich and expand the implementation channels of labor education,and establish compulsory courses for labor education in universities,primary and secondary schools." "Preschool education is the beginning of the whole process of talent training,and family education is an important way to implement labor education." Therefore,this study aims to investigate and explore the influence of parents’ concept of housework on the participation of children aged 3-6 on the participation of children aged 3-6 years old,and put forward corresponding educational suggestions.In this study,405 children and their parents were studied using a questionnaire method.The results of the study found that:(1)The self-service score of preschool children in housework participation was higher than the score of family service.There were significant differences in the overall gender of self-service and preschool children’s participation in domestic work.There are also significant differences in the overall situation of self-service and preschool children’s participation in domestic work in the age of young children.(2)There were significant differences between parents’ general views on housework,parents’ views on children’s housework,and parents’ views on housework in the overall situation of fathers and mothers;There are significant differences between parents’ general views on housework and parents’ views on housework in general.Parents’ general view of housework differs significantly from parents’ occupation.(3)The general housework view of parents,the parents’ view of children’s housework,and the overall situation of parents’ housework view were significantly positively correlated with the participation of preschool children in housework;Parents’ general view of housework can positively predict the self-service,family service and overall situation of preschool children’s participation in housework.Parents’ view of housework can positively predict the self-service of preschool children’s participation in housework.The following findings were drawn:Parents’ view of housework will have a significant impact on their preschool children’s participation in housework.Based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward the following recommendations:(1)Family: Change the concept of education and attach importance to early childhood labor education;Stimulate children’s love of labor due to snobbery;Moderate assistance to promote the improvement of children’s labor skills;Participate together and be a good role model for young children.(2)Kindergartens: Provide scientific labor education guidance according to family needs;According to the needs of young children,labor education is integrated into daily life.
