| With the rapid development of technology and the improvement of rural economic conditions, mobile phones, computers and other media have penetrated into all aspects of rural life, especially after three years of the epidemic, students are taking online classes at home and using more and more electronic media. These rural compulsory education students born in the Internet age are in the stage of rapid growth of self-awareness and self-regulation,what kind of impact has the media had on these "digital natives" ? What are their media usage behaviors, media content preferences, and media cognitive abilities? How does this affect their learning behavior? A clear understanding of these problems will undoubtedly help the healthy growth of students in the stage of rural compulsory education. This paper sorts out the literature on media literacy and learning behavior of students in the compulsory education stage at home and abroad, puts forward hypotheses according to the problems to be studied, establishes the corresponding research framework, and designs a questionnaire according to this framework. The questionnaire selected one junior high school and three primary schools in Y County,Henan Province as the research sample, and a total of 600 students in the compulsory education stage were surveyed from students in grades 4 to 6 and students from grades 1 to 3 of junior high school, and the results were analyzed, the research hypotheses were verified, and the in-depth interview method was used to conduct follow-up research on the content that could not be covered by the questionnaire. The results show that there is a negative correlation between online media contact behavior and learning motivation, learning attitude, learning strategy and learning ability of rural primary school students and junior high schools, positive correlation between learning communication preference and learning strategy and learning ability of rural compulsory education students, and negative correlation between leisure and entertainment preference and learning attitude, learning strategy and learning ability. There was a positive correlation between media cognition and learning motivation, learning attitude, learning strategy and learning ability of students in rural compulsory education.Based on this conclusion, targeted suggestions are put forward at the end, parents and teachers should actively guide students to make good use of media to stimulate learning motivation and correct learning attitude for the negative impact of media exposure behavior.Regarding the two-way impact of media content preference, the supervision of media content should be strengthened to increase the relevance of learning content,so as to positively affect the learning behavior of students in the rural compulsory education stage.Media cognition, although positively influences learning behavior. However, due to the improper behavior of online media contact of students in the rural compulsory education stage, and the media contact is biased towards leisure and entertainment, which is very detrimental to their learning behavior, schools and families should work together, schools carry out media literacy education courses, parents improve their own literacy, change educational concepts, and help rural compulsory education students grow up healthily. |
