New medium,such as computers and mobile phones,have penetrated into people's lives,and the rich and diverse methods of information presentation have scattered the young people's energy and occupied most of their life time.What is the impact of media on these "digital natives" in the age of the Internet?Especially in the rural areas,for students at the stage of compulsory education,how do they use media in daily life and learning?How much do they know about the media?What about their ability to use the media?There is no doubt that figuring out these content can help young people grow up healthily.Therefore,we choose along with the county of hubei province as the research sample,on the basis of field research,the current situations about media literacy of students in rural compulsory education are known.More,the author looking at the development status of the rural education informatization from the perspective of media literacy education and puts forward the countermeasures to improve the media literacy of students in rural compulsory education.The thesis is divided into three main levels.First,based on the related research of the media literacy at home and abroad for reference,the paper tries to define the concept of "media literacy",sum up the importance of the "media literacy" for students' healthy growth,introduces and reviews the theory of media literacy.And,introduce the status of teaching resources and the implementation of the construction and the information education in rural compulsory education,especially for via"classes" introduced in detail,to analyse the implementation of "media literacy education.Secondly,to understand present situation about media literacy of students in the rural compulsory education,the paper analyses the data of students questionnaire feedback including the students' ability to operate media,use and cognitive,etc.The author analyses the differences of media literacy of students in rural compulsory education from the perspective of student grade,gender,family income,etc.And have a simple analysis of media literacy education,the content which cannot be covered by the questionnaire is supplemented by interviews with teacher.Finally,on the basis of empirical research,to reveal the main problems of media literacy education in rural compulsory education and put forward the countermeasures to promote the development of media literacy education in rural compulsory education.Through the study,it is found that the students' lack of media awareness,the ability to use media,the ability to use the media,and the ability to criticize media information are weak,and that students receive less media literacy education from families and schools.The lack of media literacy education at the stage of compulsory education in rural areas and the weakness of rural areas.Economics restrict the improvement of students' media literacy,and the improvement of students' media literacy needs the joint efforts of the government,schools,families and society.
