With the progress of economic and cultural level,the media into a period of rapid development,not only the media technology is more and more advanced,the medium type also more and more rich,gradually eliminate the gap between different media,and the life of people to work closer together,so in the face of the impact of the media and change,people need to have a certain media literacy to be independent to survive in the increasingly complex media environment,avoid harmful impact to their information,make full use of the useful information for their daily work life better service,at the same time,using their own advantages to provide more high-quality media content,serve the society.So the correct media literacy education to a person’s growth is very necessary,teenage children is in rapid growth,in view of their media literacy education is particularly important,and vulnerable youth groups,contributions to the society from all walks of life are needed to help them to calm in the face of all kinds of media information,which is particularly special rural left-behind children group,because of the dual structure between urban and rural areas,cause they enjoy all the resources lags behind that of urban children,they have lack of backward economic and cultural level,close to raise,the situation of the school resources,Therefore,media literacy education for rural left-behind children needs to be more targeted.Due to the primary stage of media literacy education in China,the media literacy education of rural left-behind children is still in a "blind spot",so the media literacy education of rural left-behind children is more necessary and urgent.This study in Hu Bei Jian Li Hong Miao middle school and Xi Shui county elementary school tile 8 to14 rural left-behind children as the research object,has carried out for three months of survey,survey by questionnaire survey on the two schools of left-behind children in the family life,school life,social situation and the current situation of media literacy field investigation and study,and with the left-behind children,left-behind children real guardian and left-behind children teachers in-depth interview to left-behind children in the family,schools,living environment and media environment to be more real and understanding,on the basis of summarizing present situation of media literacy,left-behind children group.To explore the strategies to improve the media literacy education of left-behind children with pertinence and maneuverability.This study is divided into six parts,the first chapter is the introduction,explainsthe selected topic origin,and introduced the selected topic background and significance,the domestic and foreign media literacy and media literacy education and generalizes the domestic left-behind children’s literature,the topic of media literacy and left-behind children are two important concepts defined,and put forward the research purpose and research assumptions;The second chapter is the research design.It introduces the theoretical basis of the research,and sorts out the research framework,research methods and research process.At the same time,it introduces the research time and research objects.The third chapter makes qualitative and quantitative analysis on the family life and education,group life and interpersonal communication,media literacy and media literacy education of the investigated subjects.The fourth chapter according to the research results were analyzed,and a summary of current situation of left-behind children media literacy,including the existing problems in the left-behind children media literacy and the characteristics of present,and carries on the cause analysis,from family,school,peer groups,social media four aspects carries on the discussion of the influence of left-behind children media literacy.The fifth chapter discusses the strategies to improve media literacy education for left-behind children.Based on the previous chapter,it proposes feasible strategies from four aspects: family,school,media and government.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and prospect.First,it summarizes and sorts out the whole paper,and forecasts the research on media literacy of left-behind children in interventional media literacy education and non-interventional media literacy education respectively.This study based on analyzing the present situation and problems of rural left-behind children’s media literacy,show the importance of media on rural left-behind children grow up,so only the involved in more attention to the left-behind children’s life,really make a strong operable reproducible media literacy education promotion strategy,is the meaning of this study.
