| Under the dual background of promoting the employment priority strategy and the rapid development of the digital economy,clarifying the impact and impact mechanism of artificial intelligence applications on labor income has become an important issue facing China.This thesis defines the connotation of education category from two dimensions: education level and education form,and studies the impact effect and impact mechanism of artificial intelligence application on labor income from the perspective of education category.In terms of theoretical analysis,the impact of artificial intelligence application on labor income is analyzed based on the "job substitution effect","job creation effect" and "productivity effect",and the impact mechanism of artificial intelligence application on labor income is analyzed from the perspective of education category,and corresponding research hypotheses are proposed.Study design,including variable selection,model building,and data selection.In terms of variable selection,labor income is used as the explanatory variable,and the wage income level of workers is specifically measured;The level of artificial intelligence application is used as an explanatory variable,and it is measured by constructing comprehensive indicators;Taking the education category as the regulating variable,it specifically includes two indicators: education level and education form,in which the education level is measured by the number of years of higher education received by the worker,and the form of education is measured by the imaginary variable of whether the worker receives part-time education.In terms of model construction,based on the extension of Mincer’s wage equation,an empirical model is constructed to test the impact and mechanism of artificial intelligence application on labor income from the perspective of education category.In terms of data selection,after selecting CGSS database and CLDS database and matching and censoring processing,a total of 28276 samples were included in seven years from 2012 to 2018.The empirical study in this thesis found the following conclusions.First,the application of artificial intelligence has a significant promoting effect on labor income,and this research conclusion is relatively robust before and after the introduction of control variables,different regression methods and different samples.Second,the impact of AI application on labor income The moderating effect of education category: from the perspective of education level,the number of years of higher education received by workers can strengthen the positive impact effect of AI application on labor income;From the perspective of education form,part-time education can strengthen the positive impact of artificial intelligence application on labor income.Third,based on the heterogeneity of the "eastern,central and western" economic zones,it is found that there are significant differences in the impact effect and impact mechanism of artificial intelligence application on labor income: the impact effect is positive in the eastern region and negative in the central and western regions;In terms of influence mechanism,the regulating effect of education level is positive in the eastern and central regions and negative in the western region,while the regulatory effect of the form of education mainly exists in the eastern and western regions and is not significant in the central region.Based on the research conclusions,this thesis puts forward relevant policy recommendations,first,government policies should clarify the tone and encourage the promotion of artificial intelligence application process.Second,continue to promote the development of higher education and encourage the development of multiple forms of education.Third,policy formulation should be tailored to local conditions to fully release the revenue-increasing potential of AI. |
