Research On The Influence Mechanism Of Online Course Quality On College Students’ Learning Effect

Abstract/Summary:
As a new learning method,online learning can make full use of the advantages of modern information technology and profoundly change the teaching mode and management mode of colleges and universities.Online teaching has become the general trend.The new crown epidemic has opened the prelude to large-scale online course learning.All colleges and universities have implemented online teaching,but existing research results show that the learning effect of online courses for college students is not ideal.As the carrier of students’ learning,the course quality will affect the learning effect.Therefore,from the perspective of online course quality,this study analyzes the influencing factors of college students’ online course learning effect,and explores the mechanism of online course quality on learning effect,to propose strategies to improve the learning effect of online courses.This thesis conducts research through empirical research methods such as literature research,questionnaire survey and data statistical analysis.Firstly,this study constructed a model of influencing factors for college students’ online course learning effects through literature review.Secondly,a survey questionnaire on online course quality and learning effect was prepared,and a survey was carried out on college students from different professional backgrounds and academic stages.468 valid questionnaires were collected,and SPSS25.0 and AMOS24.0 were used for statistics to analyze the effect of online course quality on college students’ learning The influence mechanism of each variable,the current level of each variable and the difference in the learning situation of different groups.Finally,according to the research results,suggestions are made to improve the learning effect.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)College students’ learning effects,learning satisfaction,learning engagement and online course quality are generally at a moderate level.(2)For college students of different genders,the learning engagement and learning interaction quality of female are significantly higher than that of male;for college students of different academic stages,the online learning satisfaction,learning engagement and learning interaction quality of graduate students are significantly higher than undergraduates.(3)All dimensions of online course quality,namely the quality of teaching content,the quality of lecturers,the quality of course resources,the quality of learning interaction,the quality of learning evaluation and the quality of technical support have a significant positive effect on the learning effect of college students through learning satisfaction and learning engagement.Influence.(4)Learning satisfaction plays a partial mediating role in the five dimensions of teaching content quality,lecturer quality,course resource quality,learning interaction quality,and technical support quality affecting the learning effect of college students;The four dimensions of teacher quality,learning interaction quality and learning evaluation quality play a partial mediating role in the process of affecting college students’ learning effects.According to the analysis results,this study puts forward strategies for improving the learning effect of college students from different aspects of online courses,such as improving the quality of lecturers and the content delivery effect;improving the quality of course content and teaching design;providing technical support services to improve online learning experience;improving the learning evaluation mechanism and provide timely feedback on the learning situation;building a learning community to promote effective online interaction.
