A Practical Study On The Involvement Of Group Work In Enhancing The Awareness Of Fraud Prevention Among Rural Elderly

With the development of modern society,the degree of population aging is deepening.With the increasing number of the elderly population,the social problems they face are also increasing.In recent years,the problem of old people being cheated has attracted more and more attention from the society.But scholars’ relevant research shows that there is a certain gap between urban and rural aging,and the degree of rural aging is higher than the city.Rural aging intensifies,so that the rural elderly gradually become the main object of lawbreakers cheating.According to the research,the rural elderly due to the weak awareness of fraud leads to the frequent occurrence of fraud events.The promotion of anti-fraud awareness can reduce the occurrence of fraud incidents to a certain extent,which is of great help to the improvement of the quality of life and living standards of the elderly,and also to a certain extent alleviate the problem of pension.Therefore,it is particularly important to enhance the awareness of fraud prevention among the elderly in rural areas.Based on this background,this paper investigates and studies the current situation of the awareness of fraud prevention of the elderly in D village of Henan Province by means of questionnaire and interview.Through the research results,it is found that the awareness of fraud prevention of the elderly in the village is weak on the whole,including serious deficiencies in the cognition of fraud prevention,mastering the methods of fraud prevention and the experience of fraud prevention.The situation of old people being cheated in the village is still serious.Therefore,based on cognitive behavioral theory and social support theory,this study takes the elderly in D village of Henan Province as the research object to explore the problems and needs of improving the awareness of fraud prevention of the elderly in rural areas,and then adopts the method of group work to intervene in improving the awareness of fraud prevention of the elderly in D village.And after each group work,the team members of the anti-fraud awareness of the improvement effect of all aspects of the evaluation,analysis of social work intervention in rural elderly awareness of fraud prevention of the necessity and feasibility.The study found that the effective intervention of group work,so that the elderly changed the wrong cognition of fraud prevention,master the method of fraud prevention,enrich the practical experience of fraud prevention.To a certain extent,it improves the awareness of fraud prevention of the rural elderly and effectively reduces the probability of being cheated by the rural elderly.It has enriched the practical experience of social work in intervening the rural elderly.
