| With the development of aging population,some illegal elements have taken advantage of the cognitive decline,information blockage,and weak social support systems of rural elderly people to commit fraud through various illegal means,greatly disrupting their normal elderly life.Therefore,in this context,helping rural elderly people master fraud prevention knowledge and learn fraud prevention skills,in order to avoid being deceived as much as possible,is of great social significance for safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of these elderly people and promoting the harmony and stability of rural society.This study takes the elderly in S Village,Zouping City as the research object,relying on situational education theory and social learning theory.Through the intervention of situational education groups in the prevention of fraud among rural elderly people,we aim to understand their positive role in improving their awareness of fraud prevention.Firstly,the workers used literature review,questionnaire survey,and interview methods to analyze the types and reasons of fraud that the elderly in S Village are prone to.Subsequently,on the basis of grasping their specific fraud prevention needs,8 elderly people were recruited and provided with fraud prevention team services.Group activities mainly focus on scenario simulation,and promote their grasp of fraud prevention knowledge through active participation of team members in specific scenarios,combined with explanations from workers and mutual support and sharing among team members.Finally,the evaluation found that compared to before the group opening,the elderly’s awareness and ability to prevent fraud have been strengthened.Through summarizing and reflecting on this group activity,it was found that the intervention of situational education groups in the prevention of fraud among rural elderly people has both advantages and disadvantages.In response to the shortcomings,workers have proposed corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to further promote research in this field and better solve the fraud prevention problem of rural elderly people. |
