With the continuous development of science and technology, the application of internet technology has become more widespread, and our lives have undergone tremendous changes. As a new thing, delivery has become an indispensable part of our daily life through rapid development. With the booming development of the delivery industry, the profession of delivery riders has attracted more and more labor force to this industry due to its unique advantages of low employment threshold and considerable income.Delivery riders are mostly young people, supplemented by middle-aged people. In recent years, the number of female delivery riders has also been increasing year by year. The development of the delivery industry,on the one hand, does provide more flexible working methods for ordinary workers, but it may also encounter some problems during its development, such as the pressure of platform catering time and merchant dining time on riders, the complex and ever-changing delivery environment in the face of extreme weather, high customer expectations for riders’ services or deliberate difficulties, general lack of respect for the delivery riders industry in society and the increasing influx of labor brings about occupational competition and so on.These common factors pile up,causing corresponding professional pressure on delivery riders. This article takes Xiaozhang,a delivery rider from Shenyang,as the research object.Through interviews, participatory observation, literature review, and scale analysis, the basic information of the case owner is collected to analyze the reasons for the problem.Through the analysis of the case owner’s data,it was found that the case owner had the following problems: incorrect cognition, weak ability to resolve negative emotions, and weak social support from family and colleagues.Incorrect cognition leads to negative emotions among the case owner, which in turn leads to occupational stress and ultimately leads to a lower sense of professional identity among the case owner. The lack of ability to resolve negative emotions has led to the continuous accumulation of negative emotions generated by the case owner in their work, ultimately leading to greater occupational stress. The lack of social support makes it difficult for the case owner to vent their emotions.Social workers use cognitive behavioral therapy to help patients achieve cognitive reconstruction, change their previous irrational cognition, improve their ability to prevent and reduce stress, enhance their social support, and alleviate their occupational stress, achieving service goals.
