| In recent years,China’s grass-roots communities in the implementation of policies,to meet the needs of the People’s life and culture play an important role.The importance of community workers is increasing day by day.The heavy work makes them face more professional problems,such as the lack of social support,salary,and professional knowledge.The occupational stress brought by the above factors will lead to brain drain and affect the development of community governance.As one of the important working methods of social work,casework can provide targeted services according to individual particularities.Therefore,the main topic of this study is the intervention of casework to the occupational stress of community workers.Through the assessment of the needs of community workers,we can design a case-based intervention program,to help community workers relieve the pressure of their careers.First of all,this study used questionnaires and interviews to investigate the occupational stress of community workers in the N community of W city.The results of 49 community workers in the N community showed that the job satisfaction of community workers in the N community was low,and 17.77% of them had serious job stress.The results of interviews with 10 community workers showed that most of the community workers with occupational stress problems had poor sleep quality,lack of emotional control,lack of job satisfaction,and negative performance,these problems are caused by community workers’ lack of social support,heavy tasks,poor salary,and social role conflicts.Secondly,the comprehensive scale score and the behavior of community workers,follow the principle of voluntary,screening of 2 representative community workers as a case of the intervention service object.Based on cognitive behavior theory and social support theory,six cases were involved in establishing rational belief,increasing family support,and linking social resources.The practice of casework consists of four stages:the first stage is to understand the basic situation of the clients,establish professional relations with the clients,and analyze the causes of the clients’ occupational stress;the second stage is,to help clients acquire scientific methods to relieve stress,to identify clients’ unreasonable beliefs in conversation,and to help clients establish reasonable beliefs;The fourth stage,social workers and clients review the process of intervention together,the intervention process and results were evaluated by interview and scale comparison.The results showed that through six case interventions,the two clients’ work enthusiasm was improved,the social support network was gradually improved,the scientific method of stress relief was learned,and the problem of occupational stress has been effectively alleviated.In conclusion,the service effect of casework on improving the occupational stress of community workers is obvious.This research believes that to help community workers relieve their occupational stress,we should improve their emotional regulation ability and professional ability,perfect their social support network,and standardize their work assignments. |
