Under the background of population aging and the professionalization of social work,the elderly social workers as pension talents have an important position and function,and the job burnout of the elderly social workers will hinder them from playing their due role in the pension industry and the professionalization of social work.In order to understand,analyze,solve and prevent the job burnout of the elderly social workers,the author takes the social support theory,one of the application theories in social work practice,as the theoretical basis.According to the definition of the job burnout of the elderly social workers,the social support status is evaluated and the demand analysis is carried out.According to the practical model of social support theory,the intervention of job burnout was discussed.First of all,the author takes 13 elderly social workers as the research object,and uses the MBI-GS job burnout scale to measure them.It is concluded that the interviewees have different degrees of job burnout,and the three-dimensional theoretical model of job burnout is used to explain and analyze the performance of job burnout of elderly social workers.Job burnout is a common phenomenon in the social work industry.The author compares the job burnout of the elderly social workers with of social workers in other fields and other groups,and reveals that the job burnout of elderly social workers has its particularity.Secondly,the author uses the social support scale(SSRS)to conduct a scale survey on the interviewees,and operationalizes the social support status of the elderly social workers.It is analyzed that in the informal system,except for the limited support provided by institutional colleagues,the service objects,families,relatives and friends of the elderly social workers can not give corresponding support.It is analyzed that the formal system of the elderly social workers,whether it is the work unit,industry association or government department,can not give enough social support,and explains the mechanism of action between social support and job burnout,that is,social support provides psychological support and resource supply for the elderly social workers.Based on the practical mode of social support,social work intervention in the job burnout of elderly social workers can start from the establishment of a sound social support system,increase the supply of social support,strengthen the subjective perception of social support and improve the utilization of social support.In addition,it is important to pay attention to the work unit where the elderly social workers are located to build a supportive work space,create a good institutional environment,clarify professional roles,formulate long-term social worker care,and let the elderly social workers get practical help and support in the work unit.Moreover,under the intervention of social work,to job burnout people to achieve ’self-help’ state,such as building psychological self-adjustment,strengthen professional identity and improve professional ability,in order to improve the personal experience and feelings in the work,gain more sense of achievement and value.Finally,this study is summarized.The essence of job burnout is the fracture of social connection.It also points out the shortcomings of single research object,small sample size and insufficient research.
