Short video addiction refers to a chronic or periodic state of addiction caused by repeated use of short video apps(Kuaishou,Douyin,etc.),resulting in a strong and persistent sense of desire and dependence.Overindulgence in short videos can lead to delayed sleep,and laboratory studies often mimic sleep deprivation through sleep deprivation.Sleep deprivation refers to sleep duration of less than 4 hours in 24 hours.It is a state of sleep loss caused by environment or self.Previous literature has shown a strong link between attention deficit and Internet addiction,that sleep deprivation can negatively affect cognitive function,and that addiction withdrawal can promote cognitive recovery,However,few studies have evaluated the correlation between short video addiction and attention function,the effects of 24-hour sleep deprivation on attention function of short video addicted college students,and whether short video addiction withdrawal can promote the recovery of attention function.In this study,mobile phone addiction questionnaire,adapted IAT Internet Addiction Scale and DSM-5 were used to select short video addiction group,short video addiction withdrawal group and normal group from Xizang University students as experimental groups.The attention network task(ANT)was used to measure the response time and accuracy of the subjects.The experimental data were sorted out and input into SPSS software.The relationship between variables was investigated by repeated measurement analysis of variance and independent sample T-test,and the relevant theoretical basis and social situation were combined to make analysis and summary.In study 1,attention network task(ANT)was used to study the effect of short video addiction on attention network.There were significant differences between the short video addiction group and the normal group in the attention network response in the orientation function,but no significant differences in the alertness function and executive function.There was no significant difference in the accuracy of alertness function,orientation function and executive control function between the two groups.In study 2,attention network task(ANT)was used to study the effects of 24-hour sleep deprivation on the attention network of short video addicts.After 24 hours of sleep deprivation,the response time of three subnetworks of attention network showed significant differences between the short video addiction group and the normal group in terms of alertness function.There were significant differences in orientation function between the two groups,and there were significant differences before and after sleep deprivation.There was no significant difference in executive control function between the two groups,but there was a significant difference before and after sleep deprivation.In terms of the accuracy of the three subnetworks of attention network,there was no significant difference between the short video addiction group and the normal group in the alertness function.There was no significant difference in orientation function between the two groups,but there was a significant difference before and after sleep deprivation.There were significant differences in executive control function between the two groups.In Study 3,attention network task(ANT)was used to study the effects of 24-hour sleep deprivation on the attention network of short video addiction withdrawal.After 24 hours of sleep deprivation,the response time of the three subnetworks of attention network showed significant differences in alertness function between the short video addiction group and the short video addiction withdrawal group,but no significant differences in orientation function between the two groups.There were significant differences before and after sleep deprivation.There was no significant difference in executive control function between the two groups,but there was a significant difference before and after sleep deprivation.In terms of the accuracy of the three subnetworks of attention network,there was no significant difference in vigilance function between the short video addiction group and the normal group.There was no significant difference in orientation function;There was no significant difference in executive control function.In this study,the attention network task(ANT)was used to test the attention network function of college students with short video addiction,the attention network function of college students with short video addiction induced by 24-hour sleep deprivation and the attention network function of college students with short video addiction withdrawal.The analysis of the results showed that the attention network function of college students with short video addiction had a tendency to develop in a negative state.The attention orientation function of short video addicted college students is deficient;After 24 hours of sleep deprivation,the orientation function and executive control function of attention network in the short video addiction group and the normal group were weakened with the extension of wake time,and the alert function,orientation function and executive control function of the short video addiction group were worse than the normal group.24 hours sleep deprivation can negatively affect the orientation function and executive control function in the attention network of the short video addiction group and the short video addiction withdrawal group,and the short video addiction withdrawal group has better alertness function than the short video addiction group. |
