| Building a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation is the principal line of national work in the new era,and it is also an important guarantee for realizing the great Chinese dream.In the context of Tibet’s new journey towards the second centenary goal,there are still weak links in stabilizing and strengthening the border,and there are still unfavorable factors for national and ethnic unity.Further strengthening the sense of community for the Chinese nation is an urgent task to be pursued.Teenagers represent the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation.Middle school students are at a critical stage in establishing their outlook on life,thus school education is particularly important.History is an important course in school education,shouldering the fundamental task of establishing morality and cultivating people.Teachers are required to explore the educational function of the outstanding cultural heritage of humanity while imparting knowledge,so that students can establish a correct view of history,nationality,country,and culture,and cultivate their sense of community of the Chinese nation.After the implementation of the new curriculum standards,many junior high school history teachers have begun to focus on cultivating students’ awareness of the Chinese national community,and have achieved some results.However,some shortcomings have also been found in their teaching work.Therefore,combining relevant theoretical research and teaching practice,summarizing the experience will help to better integrate the cultivation of the sense of Chinese national community into the teaching of history courses in junior high schools.In view of this,this study focuses on the history curriculum in junior high schools.Through text analysis of the “History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)” and the history textbooks compiled by the Ministry for grade 7 and 8,it interprets the relevant requirements for cultivating the sense of Chinese national community in the text,and clarifies its core content in the history curriculum.Based on this,taking three history teachers from A County High School in Naqu City,Tibet Autonomous Region as the research objects,the research conducted a further study on the current situation of the integration of the Chinese national community consciousness into the history curriculum of junior high schools through classroom observation,analyzed the shortcomings in teaching and proposed improvement strategies,with a view to providing junior high school history teachers with experience in integrating Chinese national community consciousness in the context of history teaching.Based on the observation and analysis of the actual classroom situation of three history teachers in County A middle school,the study found that the convergence of curriculum standards and junior high school history textbook content with the cultivation of Chinese national community awareness is rarely presented in actual teaching.The main reasons include insufficient exploration of teaching resources,monotonous teaching methods,and teachers’ lack of deep understanding of the Chinese national community consciousness.Based on this,this study proposes strategies on how to effectively cultivate the sense of Chinese national community in history teaching from the pedagogical level: teachers should first clarify teaching objectives,and organically integrate the core literacy goals that need to be achieved with the sense of Chinese national community;secondly,it is necessary to fully tap the history curriculum resources and improve students’ understanding of the Chinese national community consciousness;finally,situational teaching methods and exploratory teaching methods should be adopted to stimulate students’ interest and cultivate the sense of Chinese national community. |
