Since it was proposed in 2014,the important theory of forging a sense of Chinese national community was written into the party constitution at the 19 th National Congress,which is the main line for the party and the state to carry out ethnic work in the new era and is the key educational content that should be carried out in schools at all levels.This paper takes the study of casting a firm sense of Chinese national community in high school history teaching as the basis,and discusses four aspects: necessity and feasibility,content,methods and problems that should be paid attention to.From the viewpoint of necessity,casting a firm sense of Chinese national community among high school students is conducive to strengthening students’ awareness of the importance of national unity,to their appreciation of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,and to enhancing their sense of social responsibility.From the viewpoint of feasibility,the national unified high school history textbook is written under the guidance of the theory of forging a sense of Chinese national community,and the textbook includes a large amount of historical knowledge about forging a sense of Chinese national community.These historical knowledge provide valuable materials for high school history teaching to cast a firm sense of community of the Chinese nation.Casting a firm sense of the Chinese national community is a guide for teaching history in high school.How to forge students’ sense of Chinese national community needs to be explored from two aspects: teaching contents and teaching methods.In terms of content,the high school history textbook "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History"(above)has a large amount of historical knowledge that can be used to develop students’ sense of Chinese national community.This specific knowledge can be grouped into five categories,which belong to knowledge of national identity,knowledge of national identity,knowledge of cultural identity,knowledge of the identity of the Chinese Communist Party,and knowledge of the identity of the Chinese socialist path.In the teaching process,teachers need to deeply comprehend this knowledge and need to clarify the intention of writing this knowledge in order to fully reflect the value of this knowledge.In terms of educational approaches and teaching methods,there are two educational approaches,namely the classroom teaching approach and the in-school and out-of-school activities approach.In the classroom teaching process,in order to achieve better teaching effect,teachers can use one or several teaching methods suchas problem inquiry,excavation of historical materials,contextual teaching,narration method and explanation method according to specific knowledge points and their own preferences,with a view to establishing a sense of Chinese national community in students’ minds and eventually consolidating this sense.The advantage of in-school and out-of-school activities is that they can give students an immersive experience,and one activity may be more effective than ten lessons.It is important to note that in-school and out-of-school activities should be based on the premise that knowledge is acquired in the classroom.To carry out the work of casting a firm sense of Chinese community in high school is one of the important tasks of school education in recent years,and all schools and disciplines are actively implementing the task;no single school and no single discipline has achieved mature experience.The following are some of the things that should be noted in teaching history in high school: first,teachers should pay attention to the integration of teaching resources;second,constant breakthroughs in conventional teaching methods;third,the need to obtain support from schools;fourth,the need to develop effective evaluation mechanisms,etc. |
