It is the bounden responsibility and mission of normal colleges and universities to cultivate high-quality normal university students who can“go,stay,teach well and develop"”for the countryside,and it is the core blood supply station to promote the revitalization of rural education effectively.With the advancement of rural education modernization,how to improve normal university students’ willingness to teach in rural areas and promote the development of rural education is a subject of great practical significance.Through literature research method,this paper comprehensively combs the existing relevant researches,and based on the research status,uses the theory of teacher career development,the theory of planned behavior and the theory of normative activation,takes three local normal universities as the research objects,and conducts an in-depth investigation through the survey method,including questionnaires and interviews.The first part is the introduction,which starts from the research on the needs of The Times and the core points of the implementation of the current rural revitalization strategy as well as the realistic problems of the severe rural education situation of normal university students.It also introduces the research purpose and significance of this paper,comprehensively reviews the relevant researches at home and abroad,reviews the existing literature,and introduces the research methods,core concepts and the innovation points of this research.The second part is the theoretical basis and the guiding significance of the theory to the research.This part mainly expounds the theoretical support of the factors influencing the rural teaching intention of normal university students and the guiding role of these theories to the specific investigation and analysis.Respectively,the theory of teacher career development guides the research from the macro level,while the theory of planned behavior and the theory of normative activation guide the factors that affect students’ willingness to teach in rural areas.The third part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of normal university students’ willingness to teach in rural areas.729 normal university students from three normal universities are taken as the research objects,and the survey results,including the demographic characteristics of the survey samples,the overall situation of normal university students’ willingness to teach,the current situation of rural willingness to teach,and the intensity of rural willingness to teach,are descriptive analysis.The fourth part is the analysis of influencing factors of rural teaching intention of normal university students.Based on the data survey and the third part of the data analysis,this part carries out a deeper statistical analysis,including demographic difference analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The fifth part is the research results and discussion.The results show that the level of rural teaching intention of normal university students is not high.The four factors of rural teaching behavior attitude,perceived behavior control of rural teaching,subjective norms of rural teaching,and moral responsibility of rural teaching all positively affect the rural teaching intention of normal university students.Individual demographic factors also have an impact on the rural teaching willingness of normal university students.It is believed that it is still a long way to go to improve the rural teaching willingness of normal university students and normal colleges still play a major role in cultivating rural teaching willingness of normal university students.The sixth part is divided into the strategies to improve the rural teaching willingness of normal university students,from the three levels of normal colleges,villages and the country,put forward targeted measures.At the level of normal colleges,the whole process of“entrance”,“training” and “export” is checked.At the rural level,it is to build a rural education revitalization community of township governments,rural schools and rural people.National level to strengthen the timely adjustment of the policy and publicity.
