Confronted with the great change in the world,General Secretary Xi Jinping has proposed the suggestion to build “Human Destiny Community”,and contributed the Chinese wisdom and Chinese solution to promote the peace and development of the world.In order to implement the vital instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping,Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)issued by the Ministry of Education has stressed clearly that the students must grasp the knowledge related with the concept of“Human Destiny Community”.The integration of the concept of “Human Destiny Community” into the history teaching in the junior high school aims to respond to the call of the Party Central Committee and the Ministry of Education,thus fitting the future development direction of Chinese education in the new era.As a discipline with the profound cultural heritage,the history discipline is featured with the unique advantages in the teaching of the concept of “Human Destiny Community”.Based on the theory of the concept of “Human Destiny Community”,the paper has found and combed the materials related with the concept of “Human Destiny Community” in six history textbooks in the junior high school compiled by the Ministry of Education.Meanwhile,the teachers and students from Z Middle School in Changsha City have been investigated via the questionnaire,exchange and interview and other ways in order to understand their cognition on the concept of “Human Destiny Community”.It can be found from the investigation that there are certain problems among the integration of the concept of“Human Destiny Community” into the history teaching in the junior high school to be solved.For example,the students are lacked of the theoretical knowledge,the teachers are insufficient in researching the curriculum standards and the teaching materials,the teaching method is single,the development of the curriculum resource is incomplete,etc.The occurrence of the above problems is mainly influenced by the limitation of the physical and mental development of the junior high school students,the exam-oriented concept of “only score theory” and “only entrance theory”,the insufficient integration awareness of the teachers,the ability to be improved,and the lack of the attention from the school and other factors.Concerning the above problems,the paper has proposed the targeted countermeasures for the integration of the concept of “Human Destiny Community” into the history teaching in the junior high school based on the profound grasp of the connotation of the concept of “Human Destiny Community” and the teaching rule of junior high school history discipline from four aspects: the theoretical learning shall be strengthened,the flexible teaching methods shall be taken,the interpretation of curriculum standard and the excavation of the textbook content shall be enhanced,and the history curriculum resource shall be integrated.Finally,the empirical research is made in the history class with the case of Lesson 21 World Pattern after Cold War in the Volume II of Grade IX in the junior high school history textbook compiled by the Ministry of Education and a theme activity class of Breathing Together,Sharing Destiny--Build “Human Destiny Community” designed independently,thus providing the case reference for the history teachers in the junior high school. |
