The“Four Levels and Four Links”model is a comprehensive teaching model that constructs all aspects of the teaching process from two dimensions,“teaching”and“learning”,on the basis of developing the core literacy of the subject and promoting students’ deep understanding.It is a comprehensive teaching and learning model based on the development of disciplinary core literacy and the promotion of students’ deep understanding.This study investigates the application and practice of the“Four Levels and Four Links”model in high school mathematics teaching by combining this model with the core literacy of mathematics advocated by the new curriculum reform.This study mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and educational experiment method to analyze the literature related to the teaching model,investigate the current situation of mathematics teaching in internship high school,summarize the principles and teaching strategies of mathematics teaching under this model,design and practice the teaching unit of “ Arithmetic progression”based on the above research,and demonstrate the“Four Levels and Four Links”model.In this study,we demonstrated the effectiveness of the“Four Levels and Four Links”model in mathematics teaching.Firstly,based on the theoretical studies of teaching models by domestic and foreign educational experts and scholars,a literature review of the“Four Levels and Four Links”model was conducted to establish the theoretical basis for the promotion and implementation of the“Four Levels and Four Links”model in mathematics teaching practice.Secondly,through the questionnaire method and interview method,combined with the correlation test to analyze the current status of mathematics teaching in the internship high school,the findings found that: the lack of learning initiative hinders students’ deep understanding of knowledge;students are more dependent on teachers in mathematics teaching activities;the main body of bilateral activities between teachers and students is confused,and it is difficult to implement students’ personality development;influenced by the traditional teaching model,the teaching content is presented in a single way;the The integration of mathematical culture in the mathematics classroom is more one-sided and superficial.Then,based on theoretical research and practical investigation,we analyzed the feasibility of applying the“Four Levels and Four Links”model to mathematics teaching and distilled the principles of mathematics teaching model(the principles of understanding,activity,dialogue and reflection),teachers’ teaching strategies,students’ learning strategies,and the process of teaching design and practice activities under the“Four Levels and Four Links”.Finally,under the “ Four Levels and Four Links ” model,the “ four levels of understanding”and“four teaching links”are used as the framework for the teaching design and practice of the“Arithmetic progression”unit."The experimental class and the control class compare the correct rates of the four levels of comprehension in the post-test questions,and it is found that the teaching of the unit of “ Arithmetic progression”under the“Four Levels and Four Links”education model has a better teaching effect and effectively improves the quality of mathematics classroom teaching.
