The process of mastering knowledge is not a one-step process,but a procession from simple to complex and from concrete to abstract.Learning Progression not only emphasizes the logical system of the subject,but also emphasizes the level of cognitive development of students.It is a sequence of understanding that conforms to the cognitive development of students in the process of learning important concepts of a subject.Students need to "step on foot" one by one,they finally can understande the concept."Physics curriculum standards for Senior Middle Schools" divides the core literacy of physics into four aspects:physical concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry,scientific responsibility and attitude.It advocates the development of students’core literacy.In this thesis developing core literacy through learning progression,and defines the core concepts and important concepts.In order to select the important concepts of "conservation of momentum" and to investigate students’mastery of these important concepts,the method of read literature,the method of questionnaire survey,the method of interviewing and the method of comparison are used to investigate teachers’recognition of important concepts through questionnaire star software.To the extent,the SPSS statistical software is used to analyze the survey results and assign values to each concept.Next,through the test tool to investigate the student’s mastery,and the Bond&Fox Steps software is used to study the test questions and results based on the Rasch model.According to the test results,the learning progression of the important concept of "conservation of momentum" are constructed from five aspects:subject knowledge,scientific thinking,mathematical tools,scientific inquiry,scientific responsibility and attitude.Finally,according to the learning progression that constructed,the law of momentum conservation is selected for teaching design,communicate and interview with the teachers.In general,the issues to be studied in this thesis are as follows:First,the study of the important concept of "conservation of momentum".First of all,the author through the analysis of domestic and international curriculum standards and studying the teaching materials,and the use of CmapTools software to develop a corresponding concept map,preliminary screening of the "conservation of momentum"important concept.In order to obtain the teacher’s recognition of these important concepts,the teachers are investigated in this thesis by questionnaire star software and finally selecte the important concept of "conservation of momentum".Second,the test questions are studied based on the Rasch model.The EMCS(Energy and Momentum Conceptual Survey)test questions and the MBT(Mechanics Baseline Test)test questions are downloaded through PhysPorts in the United States in this thesis.After the translation,combined with the actual situation in China,the questions are appropriately modified.After the test questions are completed,students of different levels in the first year of high school are tested.The test questions and results are studied by the Bond&Fox Steps software based on the Rasch model.Third,the study of learning progression on the construction of the important concept of"conservation of momentum" based on the core literacy.In this thesis important concepts are selected first,and then constructs the learning progression of the important concept of"conservation of momentum" from five aspects:subject knowledge,scientific thinking,mathematical tools,scientific inquiry,scientific responsibility and attitude.Fourth,the study of instructional design and evaluation with learning progression based on core literacy.According to the learning progression that constructed,the law of momentum conservation is selected for teaching design,communicate and interview with the experienced teachers who are engaged in high school physics teaching,and evaluate and modify instructional design.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows:There are 15 important concepts under the theme of "conservation of momentum "in high school physics;the difficulty values of important concepts under the theme of "Momentum Conservation"are obtained;The learning progression of the important concept of"conservation of momentum" are constructed from five aspects:subject knowledge,scientific thinking,mathematical tools,scientific inquiry,scientific responsibility and attitude.
