Autism, also known as autism or loneliness disorder,is a representative disease of pervasive developmental disorders. Its prevalence has soared around the world for unknown reasons, and until now there has been no specific cure. This means that many families are under great burden and stress. From the discovery, diagnosis and rehabilitation training of autistic children, child caregivers often suffer from depression,sadness,self-blame,anxiety,guilt and other negative emotions.Among them, depression is a common emotional problem in the caregivers of autistic children, and some even have negative thoughts. This in turn affects the rehabilitation of autistic children and the quality of life of other family members. Therefore,as caregivers are the most important supporters of autistic children, social work intervention is particularly important to relieve their depression and help them maintain physical and mental health. In this study, the caregivers of autistic children treated in E Hospital of L City were taken as the research object, and the caregivers and existing problems of autistic children were preliminarily understood and analyzed through interview and measurement methods. The subjects were measured using the General Situation Questionnaire, the Family Burden of Illness Inventory, the Parental Stress Inventory, the self-rating Symptom Inventory and the Suicidal Ideation Inventory. The analysis of the results showed that the caregivers of autistic children had more depression, heavy family disease burden, high parental pressure and other problems, and some caregivers had negative thoughts. Then, combined with the results of measurement and interview, the needs of caregivers of autistic children were analyzed, and a representative Ms.Y was selected as the object of case intervention.Based on in-depth understanding, the service plan and target were developed together with the client. With the theoretical support of social support and advantageous perspective, the case service work was completed in four stages. The results showed that the patients’ depression was significantly relieved, the use of social support was increased, the family relationship was alleviated, and the patients’ self-efficacy was improved. The conclusion of this study is that case service work is an effective intervention for caregivers of autistic children with depression and deserves further investigation. |
