Research On The Work Of "Village-to-Residence" Mutual Support Group For Elderly Living Alone

Under the background of population aging in our country,pension problem is getting worse and worse.As a disadvantaged group among the elderly,who living alone not only face the same problems as other elderly people,but also suffer from loneliness,lack of life care and lack of social participation.At present,due to the deepening of the aging degree of Chinese population and the accelerating process of urbanization,the elderly who "change from village to residence" and live alone in the fringe areas of cities are facing the loss of the original relationship bond formed by geographical relations,the land they used to live on and the familiar production and life style.The pension problem of the elderly living alone is related to the happiness of each family,social stability and national development.Therefore,how to solve the old-age care problem of the old people who live alone and how to improve their standard of living in old age is the focus of the current social.This paper adopts the method of random sampling to conduct a questionnaire survey on the elderly living alone in Y community of E City.Combined with the interview method,it basically understands that the elderly living alone in the community of "village-to-residence" mainly have problems in mental health,life care,social interaction and other aspects.Based on the professional theories of social work--Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,advantage perspective theory and social support theory,this paper evaluates the needs of the elderly living alone in the "village-to-residence" community on the basis of fully analyzing the causes of the main pension problems of the elderly living alone,and utilizes the group work method to participate in the mutual pension service of the elderly living alone in the "village-to-residence" community.Try to solve the problem of elderly people living alone in communities that have been converted from villages to homes.It can not only accelerate the harmonious development of Y community in E City,but also improve the happiness of members of Y community in E City,so that the elderly living alone in Y community in E City will face the elderly life with a more positive attitude.At the same time,it is also expected that the research results can provide valuable reference for the group work to participate in the practice of mutual support for the elderly living alone.
