| The rise and prosperity of private higher education not only meets people’s diversified and personalized higher education needs,but also makes a positive contribution to promoting the country’s education industry and socio-economic progress..In the course of its development,the status of private colleges and universities has changed from a marginal status of “school supplementary”to an important educational institution for the development of modern society and the country,and has increasingly become an important part of my country’s higher education.As the backbone of the teaching team in private colleges and universities,young teachers are the basic guarantee for improving the quality of personnel training in private colleges and universities.Cultivating and fostering a team of high-quality young teachers in private colleges and universities is an important cornerstone for promoting the high-quality development of private higher education.Therefore,it is very necessary to pay attention to the career development of young teachers in private colleges and universities,and to comprehensively discuss the career development support system for young teachers in private colleges and universities.Through questionnaires,interviews and other methods,this study takes young teachers of private colleges and universities in Guangdong Province as the research object,and conducts an empirical investigation from four dimensions: government support,social support,school support and self-support.Through investigation and research,it is found that the current construction of the professional development support system for young teachers in private colleges and universities in Guangdong Province has the following problems: First,in terms of government support,the implementation and supervision of policies related to the protection of private teachers’ rights and interests need to be improved,and the special fund support for the development of private teachers needs to be strengthened.Second,in terms of social support,there are problems such as the low social recognition of the profession of young teachers in private colleges and universities,and the low enthusiasm of social funds to participate in the development of private colleges and universities.Third,in terms of school support,private colleges and universities need to strengthen their training support for young teachers,private colleges need to pay more attention to the scientific research and development of young teachers,the job title evaluation procedures of private colleges and universities need to be improved,private colleges and universities need to improve the support for young teachers’ salary and benefits,and the humanistic care provided by private colleges and universities for young teachers needs to be optimized.Fourth,in terms of self-support,there are problems such as weak self-development awareness and unclear career development planning of young teachers in private colleges and universities.By analyzing the problems and causes of the career development support system for young teachers in private colleges and universities,it is proposed to construct the optimization countermeasures of the "four-in-one" career development support system for young teachers of the government,society,private colleges and teachers themselves,so as to promote greater effectiveness in the professional development of young teachers in private colleges and universities,and promote the healthy and sustainable development of private colleges and universities. |
