In the present,the proportion of young teachers in the ranks of teachers in colleges and universities is getting bigger and bigger.The young teachers of ability and level are directly related to the comprehensive competitiveness of colleges and universities and also affect our country's scientific and technological innovation.At thee symposium for the China's 30th Teacher's Day,Chinese president Xi Jinping has emphasized that education is a fundamental task for the coming generation.We need to devote major efforts not only to cultivate a high-quality professional teachers troop with noble morality,excellent skills,reasonable structure and vitality but also emerge a great number of excellent teachers for our country's prosperity,national rejuvenation and the development of education.Where there are good teachers,there is good education.It required that we should improve their capability of teaching level,scientific innovation and social service.Therefore,It has great significance to give attention to the career growth of young teachers in colleges and universities and research the problems of career growth among young teachers in colleges and universities.The research was conducted in young teachers of ten universities in Fujian province by combination of questionnaires and field interviews.Through the survey and analysis of findings,we found that there are the following problems in the career growth of young teachers of colleges and universities in Fujian province.Firstly,difficulty in balance of teaching and further education;secondly,the evaluation and employment of teachers professional titles and occupational promotion;thirdly,dificiency of the ability of scientific research;Fourthly,salary satisfation.Analysis of the reasons,the main source lies in three levels:the social,schools and individuals.In view of these problems,the paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.First of all,building young teachers' career growth alliance,providing service assurance,improving their remuneration,strengthening the laws and regulations and pushing the talents intruduction.In the second place,perfect training and sabbatical leave system of young teachers in colleges and universities,improving university scientific research evaluation mechanism and title appraisal system.Last but not the least,improve their teaching level and scientific research ability,enhance mental self-adjustment and further education.In conclusion,colleges and universities should fully concentracte on young teachers' career growth and provide favorable working and living condictions,create sound scientific research atmosphere and establish guarantee mechanism of young teachers' career growth.Young teachers themselves should attach great importance to their own career growth and overcome various difficulties to improve their levels in teaching and scientific research.
