Expository text teaching is an important part of junior high school Chinese teaching,which can play a very important role in promoting students’ ideological and cultural accomplishment and the development of core literacy.However,there are some problems in the current expository teaching,such as the dull teaching content,the lack of enthusiasm of teachers and students in teaching and learning,which has a certain impact on the development of students’ language ability.How to let expository teaching get out of the current predicament and get rid of the problem of low efficiency of expository teaching has received great attention and become a hot issue in junior high school Chinese teaching.Based on the existing research results,with the purpose of promoting the development of students’ core literacy,this paper has investigated and analyzed the current situation of expository teaching,clearly pointed out the specific problems in the current expository teaching,and analyzed the reasons,so as to further propose practical teaching strategies.This paper can be divided into four parts:The introduction part first expounds the origin and significance of the research,then defines the concepts of core literacy,Chinese core literacy and expository text,and finally expounds the research summary,research content and methods.Through text research,it combs the existing research results of the current situation of expository text teaching in junior high school,aiming to carry out research on the basis of predecessors.The first chapter studies the current situation of the compilation of expository text in the unified edition of junior high school Chinese textbooks,analyzes the compilation of expository text and the characteristics of the selected text in the unified edition of junior high school Chinese textbooks,and clarifies the significance of the compilation of expository text and the specific direction for the development of students’ literacy.The second chapter uses the questionnaire survey method to carry out a questionnaire survey for teachers and students in junior high school,analyzes the current situation of expository teaching in junior high school,and summarizes the positive results,existing problems and causes.The third chapter,based on the development of students’ core literacy,puts forward the teaching strategies of expository writing in junior high school from the perspective of solving problems:first,stimulate students’ interest in learning expository writing,generate learning expectations,and continue to be willing to learn and actively explore;Second,determine the appropriate teaching content of expository text.In expository text teaching,it is not appropriate to select the traditional teaching content such as interpretation of explanation methods,but to carefully determine the teaching content based on the stylistic characteristics,text characteristics,students’ existing expository level,the overall content of the unit,etc;Third,develop practical and feasible teaching methods for expository texts.In teaching,teachers should not explain all the time,nor should they learn mechanically as they do expository texts and reading passages.Instead,they should fully reflect the main body of students,adopt appropriate teaching methods,guide students to participate actively,and actively advocate independent,cooperative and exploratory learning methods;Fourth,in the process of expository teaching,other teaching should be organically integrated,such as writing,oral communication and comprehensive learning,building different gradient learning task groups,pointing to literary reading and creative expression,realizing the combination of reading and writing,promoting thinking by reading,pointing to speculative reading and expression,and paying attention to the improvement of students’ logical thinking ability.The proposed teaching strategies are mostly reflected in the design of specific teaching links to ensure its feasibility.
