In 2017,Chinese primary and middle schools began to use the Chinese textbooks of the partial compilation.Compared with the previous version,the Chinese textbooks of the partial compilation have made great changes.With the reduction of the total articles,many classical articles have been added,and the plaintext has also made great changes.The expository text after deletion and modification presents new features in text selection,arrangement,reading aid system and practice system.In terms of text selection,the language is vivid and accurate,the materials are widely diversified,and the instrumental and humanistic characteristics are unified.In terms of arrangement,the eighth grade is focused on,which has a clear requirement on students’ explanatory ability.In terms of the reading aid system,there are notes after class,hints before and after text,supplementary knowledge,side batch and illustrations.In order to promote the teaching and learning of expository text better,this paper not only analyzes the text selection,arrangement,reading aid system and practice system,but also uses questionnaire method and examination paper method to investigate and analyze the samples,so as to optimize the expository text teaching strategy.A total of four schools in Wuhan were selected this time,including two in the far city and two in the central city,including one ordinary middle school and one key middle school respectively.The specific objects of the survey were students and teachers of junior two and junior three in the middle school.One ordinary class and one key class were randomly selected from each grade to ensure that the data were representative.There are a total of 800 questionnaires,including 32 for teachers,768 for students and 768 for papers,with good recovery rates.The questionnaire of students shows that,on the whole,students are not interested in and pay attention to expository text,have more difficulties in learning,do not listen to the content,and do not master the knowledge proficiently.The questionnaire shows that,on the whole,teachers’ teaching objectives are scientific and rigorous,teaching content and teaching methods are different according to students’ learning conditions,and classroom interaction and after-class consolidation need to be strengthened.The students’ test papers showed that most of the students had a general grasp of the relevant knowledge of expository text,and the use of knowledge was not flexible enough,indicating that their ability needed to be improved.Based on the above analysis of explanatory text selection,arrangement,assisted reading system and exercise system,as well as the questionnaire and examination paper investigation of expository teaching status,this paper puts forward optimization strategies from the aspects of teachers,students and parents respectively.Teachers,who are in a leading position,can integrate resources,integrate curriculum standards,textbooks,teaching AIDS,examination syllabus and information technology to help expository teaching;Based on learning situation,design expository teaching content;Pay attention to implementation,strengthen expository extracurricular practice.Students,students should take the initiative to cooperate,change their thoughts,pay attention to expository articles;Preview independently,familiar with the content of expository text;Pay attention to practical training,pay attention to after-class practice,synchronous extra-curricular development,in order to consolidate expository knowledge.Parents,parents should actively interact with the school,communicate with the school,pay attention to explain the literature;Cooperate with teachers and participate in expository teaching;Focus on the students and collect expository feedback.The optimization of expository strategy cannot be achieved overnight and by one person alone.Only when teachers,students,parents and schools form joint forces and actively interact for a long time,can it achieve the best effect.
