The goal of school aesthetic education in our country is to educate individuals about aesthetics.High school music classes,as an important aspect of the school’s aesthetic education, can promote students’ aesthetic feelings and foster students’ multicultural understanding. In order to realize the educational goal of high school music curriculum,it is necessary to implement the goal in every class of high school music. The emotional state of the students and teachers in the classroom influences their understanding of music knowledge and their feelings towards music works.A positive music classroom environment can encourage students to participate actively and fulfill educational goals.Music lessons,on the other hand, are full of negativity and relaxation, and pupils are hesitant to mechanically do learning tasks assigned by teachers. To improve the atmosphere of a high school music classroom, this study uses educational empowerment as a theoretical foundation and conducts empowerment practice experiments in the No.3 High School.Following the experimental research processes,ICEQ(Individualized Classroom Environment Questionnaire)was used to make pretest and post-test measurements of the music classroom atmosphere in the experimental and control classes.Simultaneously, the observation approach is utilized in practice to monitor changes in students’ attitudes and behaviors. On the scale data, the independent samples t-test and paired samples t-test were performed using SPSS 23.0.Experiment results suggest that empowering students improves the atmosphere in high school music classrooms significantly. It highlights the ideas for creating a positive music classroom environment in high school by empowering students based on the experimental results.
