Autonomy is one of the main tasks in the development of middle school students,and its importance is becoming increasingly prominent.Previous studies have shown that positive parenting style supported by parents will form supportive parent-child interaction,thus promoting the development of children’s autonomy.The autonomy of children is closely related to the family,and the belief of filial piety is formed in parent-child interaction.Is it closely related to autonomy?Based on this,this study takes middle school students as subjects to explore the relationship among parental autonomy support,dual filial piety piety and autonomy,and uses group guidance to intervene in filial piety piety,in order to promote the development of autonomy of middle school students.In study I,a questionnaire survey was conducted on middle school students from three schools in Fujian and Guangdong provinces to investigate the relationship among three variables:parental autonomy support,dual filial piety and autonomy.The results found that:(1)The parental autonomy support,dual filial piety and autonomy of middle school students’ parents are generally above the average level.(2)In terms of gender,the scores of girls’ parental autonomy support are significantly higher than boys’.However,there was no significant difference in the place of origin,grade and whether the student was the only child.(3)The dual filial piety of middle school students has significant difference in the place of origin and gender,but does not have significant difference in the only child or grade.The scores of reciprocal filial piety and authoritative filial piety of rural students were significantly higher than those of urban students;the reciprocal filial piety score of girls was significantly higher than that of boys,but the authoritative filial piety of boys was significantly higher than that of girls.(4)The autonomy of middle school students is significantly different in grade,but not in gender,place of origin and whether they are the only child.The autonomy scores of students in grade one,grade two and grade three were significantly higher than those in grade one.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between parental autonomy support and reciprocal filial piety and autonomy.Reciprocal filial piety has partial mediating effect between parental autonomy support and autonomy.There is no significant correlation between authoritative filial piety and parental autonomy supportand autonomy.In study II,the status quo and relationship between the three are obtained.The experimental method of 2(pre-test,post-test)×2(experimental group,control group)mixed design was adopted,with 15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group.The intervention was a comparative study of pre-test and post-test.The experimental group was treated with reciprocal filial piety for 8 weeks to test the effect of the intervention.The results showed that the post-test scores of the experimental group in reciprocal filial piety and autonomy were significantly higher than the pre-test scores,while the control group had no significant changes in reciprocal filial piety and autonomy scores before and after.Conclusion:(1)The parental autonomy support,dual filial piety and autonomy of middle school students’ parents are generally above the average level.There are significant differences in the three variables of parental autonomy support,dual filial piety and autonomy in some demographic dimensions.(2)There is a significant positive correlation between parental autonomy support and reciprocal filial piety and autonomy,and reciprocal filial piety has a partial mediating effect between parental autonomy support and autonomy.There is no significant correlation between authoritative filial and parental autonomy support and autonomy.(3)Reciprocal filial piety group guidance has a good effect on promoting the autonomy of middle school students.
