In recent years,a series of documents, such as the Construction Plan of National Vocational College Teachers’ Teaching Innovation Team and the Action Plan for Improving Quality and Training Excellence in Vocational Education(2020-2023),have proposed the creation of a student-centered education model with a sound combination of moral skills and work and study. At the national level,it is required to build a studentcentered education model.Through the internship and practice in two five-star secondary vocational schools in Guangxi,it is found that the classroom of Computer Assembly and Maintenance is heavy on "decomposition" rather than "integration",heavy on "layout" rather than "completion",heavy on "acceptance learning" rather than "discovery learning",which reflects that the teaching organization of this class needs to be improved.Through literature research,it is found that project-based learning has been rich in research results and can alleviate the above phenomenon theoretically. Therefore,it is decided to carry out the application research of project-based learning in the course Computer Assembly and Maintenance in secondary vocational schools.By reading a lot of literature, this paper summarizes the connotation evolution and concept of project-based learning, the application of project-based learning in computer courses, the course reform research of "Computer Assembly and Maintenance",and defines related concepts, and then defines the investigation and research program.Through interviews with ten teachers from D secondary vocational School in Liuzhou City,it is concluded that the classroom in secondary vocational school does have the "three light" problem found in the previous research, and the computer course teaching in this secondary vocational school has not been used project learning.Through questionnaire survey and data analysis based on SPSS26.0,it is found that secondary vocational students have the ability to implement project-based learning.Through literature research and investigation, the project-based learning model in this study is preliminarily formulated.During the twomonth education practice, three rounds of action research were carried out for the class of Computer Assembly and Maintenance in a secondary vocational school. After each round of action research,it was found that students’ learning effect had been improved to a certain extent through the evaluation gauge measurement, and the following conclusions were drawn: project-based learning is suitable for the course of Computer Assembly and Maintenance in secondary vocational school;Project-based learning can improve the "three light" problems. This study combines project-based learning with the course "Computer Assembly and Maintenance" in secondary vocational schools.Through action research, the teaching design is constantly optimized for problems in the implementation process. In practice,it is verified that the teaching mode can improve the teaching effect of "Computer Assembly and Maintenance" in secondary vocational schools, and has a positive impact on students’ self-learning,cooperative learning,problem-solving and divergent thinking ability. It enriches the application research of project-based learning in "Computer Assembly and Maintenance" in secondary vocational schools, and has certain reference significance for the optimization of teaching effect of computer majors in secondary vocational schools.
