Xi Jinping made important instructions on vocational education work,affirming that vocational education has a broad future and great potential,and stressed that "adhere to the leadership of the Party,adhere to the correct direction of running schools,adhere to moral cultivation of people" and "train more high-quality technical and skilled personnel." Ideological and political education is the main channel to cultivate morality and cultivate quality,but the effect of ideological and political education of secondary vocational students is not up to the level of cultivating skilled craftsmen and craftsmen of great powers for the country.Guided by typology theory and combined with the investigation of ideological and political education achievements of students in Enshi Vocational and Technical College Secondary Vocational Education Ministry,Lichuan Secondary Vocational and Technical School for Ethnic Minorities,Badong Vocational High School for Ethnic Minorities and Xuan ’en Secondary Vocational and Technical School,this paper focuses on the types,characteristics and causes of secondary vocational students.And highlight targeted education paths for different types of students.Through questionnaire survey of 220 secondary vocational students and interview survey of 7 secondary vocational students,the survey mainly focuses on the parent-child relationship,collectivism consciousness,ideal and belief status,moral quality and personality psychological quality of secondary vocational students in Enshi,Hubei Province.It finds that there are differences between urban and rural vocational students,wealth differences,family structure differences.Therefore,it puts forward the classification criteria of urban and rural differences,rich and poor differences and family structure differences,and further summarizes the type characteristics of secondary vocational studentsTracing back to the source,the differences in family education,school education and social atmosphere lead to the differences in the type characteristics of students.To be specific,the differences in the rationality of family education mode,the degree of family education intervention,the emphasis on the content of family education,the environment of family growth,the bearer of family education,the role positioning of family education,the scientific way of school education,the social atmosphere and interpersonal relations,and the students’ individual psychology greatly affect the differences in the type characteristics of students.According to the characteristics and causes of the types of students,ideological and political education is carried out with a clear aim.The main path is to strengthen the home-school cooperation,uphold the student-oriented,highlight the ideal education,adhere to humanistic care,emphasize the integration of knowledge and practice,pay attention to psychological counseling,create a harmonious environment,build a cultural atmosphere,etc.We should carry out targeted ideological and political education to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education.
