Since entering the new era,the Party and the state have attached great importance to the high-quality development of vocational education,and the basic status of secondary vocational education has become increasingly prominent.The teaching reform in the field of secondary vocational education has also been paid more and more attention,and the application research of teaching method has become an inevitable trend.Project teaching method is a kind of innovative teaching method that can combine theory with practice.It is suitable for secondary vocational teaching.Tourism Psychology is the backbone basic course for tourism majors in secondary vocational schools,which is of great significance for professional learning.Therefore,in order to meet the new requirements and background of the continuous development of secondary vocational courses,this study carries out the application research of project teaching method in the course of "Tourism Psychology" in secondary vocational schools,in order to improve the teaching effect of "Tourism Psychology" course and enhance the quality of tourism service talents in secondary vocational education.This study combs relevant domestic and foreign literature,makes an in-depth study of the theoretical basis of project teaching method,and uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview,experimental research and other methods to carry out research.Firstly,questionnaire and interview plan are designed to understand the teaching status of Tourism Psychology in secondary vocational schools,and the analysis shows that the teaching of Tourism Psychology needs to be strengthened in teaching methods,teaching design,assessment and evaluation,etc.Through teaching observation and communication between teachers and students,it can be concluded that to improve the teaching status of tourism psychology requires the joint efforts of students,teachers,schools and society.Furthermore,it further analyzes the applicability of project teaching method in the course of Tourism Psychology in secondary vocational schools from macro to micro level.Secondly,following the principles of social orientation,ability goal,student-based and multiple evaluation,the school aims at "top-level design planning,comprehensive multidimensional thinking,based on literacy development,positioning teaching objectives,condensing core knowledge,creating problem situations,setting progressive tasks,improving higher-order thinking,and constructing three-dimensional evaluation.The systematic five-step design method of "whole-process follow-up supervision" is used to design the overall application of project teaching method in the course of "Tourism Psychology",which mainly covers five parts: teaching preliminary analysis,teaching project development,teaching objective positioning,teaching process design and teaching evaluation construction.Finally,set up teaching experiments,and the students majoring in hotel management in Jinan S Vocational School are selected to carry out an empirical study.The teaching design of the project is applied in the course of Tourism Psychology in secondary vocational schools.The experimental results are compared and verified.It includes: scientific use of textbook content,absorption of cutting-edge innovative theories,design of high-quality teaching projects,combination of science and practice to cultivate talents,reasonable division of project teams,focus on student classroom management,establish the concept of lifelong learning,improve their professional level,strengthen teacher training,optimize the construction of supporting resources.In this study,the "five-step design method of project teaching" is innovatively conceived,and the application of project teaching method in the course of Tourism Psychology is systematically designed and practiced from the aspects of students,curriculum,project,objective,process and evaluation,which can integrate abstract knowledge of tourism psychology into students’ practice and help improve the teaching status of Tourism Psychology in secondary vocational schools.In the follow-up development,we will continue to enrich theoretical reserves,increase practical experience,and improve the application of project teaching method in the curriculum of secondary vocational schools.
