Application Of Project Teaching Method In Tourism Teaching Of Secondary Vocational Schools

With the rapid development of the tourism industry,people are increasingly demanding for tour guides.Secondary vocational schools in China play an important role in the training of tour guides.At present,there are some teaching problems in Tourism Teaching in most secondary vocational schools.It is necessary to improve teaching methods for tourism majors in secondary vocational schools,so as to cultivate students' theoretical knowledge and practical ability.The course "Tour Guide Practice" is one of the important courses for tourism majors in Vocational schools.This paper takes the course "Tour Guide Practice" as an example to explore the application of project teaching method.Firstly,this paper investigates the current situation in Tourism Teaching in secondary vocational schools by using various investigation methods,summarize the existing problems and according to the previous research and actual investigation results,it analyses the causes of the problems.Secondly,this paper analyzes the meaning,characteristics,application principles and implementation steps of project teaching method,and analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of project teaching method in this course.On this basis,this paper attempts to apply this method to practical teaching,and draws the following conclusions: the application of project teaching method is conducive to improving the quality of teaching and the activity of classroom atmosphere;the application of project teaching method is conducive to promoting students' self-development,improving their initiative and creativity;the application of project teaching method is conducive to improving students' practical ability,creativity and team work ability.The effective exertion of project teaching method needs support from many sides.
