In the context of the new curriculum reform,the History Curriculum Standards for General High Schools(revised in 2020)issued in 2017 clearly adjusted the training objectives of history curriculum from "three-dimensional objectives" to "core literacy of history discipline".Meanwhile,the history textbook of senior high school has also been adjusted,which shows that the required textbook has been changed from "The Course of Political Civilization","The Course of Economic Growth" and "The Course of Cultural Development" to "The Outline of Chinese and Foreign History(Part I and Part II)".The new textbook adopts the narrative method of combining general history and thematic history,and pays more attention to the coherence and integrity of historical knowledge.The new changes in history teaching in senior high school have put forward new requirements for teachers’ teaching ability,requiring teachers to adopt appropriate teaching methods and cultivate senior high school students’ core quality of history.Among many teaching methods,the historical comparison method is widely used in practical teaching and has a good effect.The historical comparison method helps to mobilize students’ enthusiasm for learning and form a good classroom atmosphere;It helps to bring students a strong sense of historical participation and improve their interest in learning history;It is helpful for teachers to guide students to accurately remember historical content and better understand the nature,law and influence of historical phenomena.This paper takes the application of historical comparison method as the research object,and studies the application of historical comparison method by using literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case analysis method.This thesis consists of six parts: introduction,text of four parts and conclusion.The introduction part discusses the reason for selecting the topic,overseas and domestic research status,the research thinking and research technique.The first part describes the concept,classification and application value of historical comparison.The second chapter investigates the application of historical comparison method in history teaching in senior high school through student questionnaires and teacher interviews,and analyzes the problems arising in the investigation.The third chapter puts forward the application principles of the historical comparison method and the application strategies of the historical comparison method in the history teaching of senior high school.The fourth chapter is the application case design of the historical comparison method.Through these specific cases in the teaching process,I hope to provide some reference for the history teaching in senior high school.
