History teaching in high school through introducing the historical materials to the class. We regard that as a medium which can connect knowledge teaching history with historical knowledge,and also help high school history education teaching task and target of a new kind of way. Teacher can use the application of historical materials to assist teaching that can show the real of history,also can let students more involved. Thus the historical materials teaching can make up uninteresting for the ways of history teaching and methods of learning in some way.This paper uses literature research, comparative analysis, case analysis and classroom practice research method to discusses the application of common problems in the process of historical materials. Such as no pertinence of historical materials selection, no interesting of historical materials using and no scientific of historical materials source. Teacher is not willing to use the historical materials in class. So the interpretation of historical materials is too rough and superficial. However,the using form of historical materials and the contents of historical materials are single in the classroom. So this paper analyzes the existing problem of historical material applications from the environment background to the teachers are not conducive to the historical material applications in the process of history teaching. For example, now,high school teaching can’t get rid of the shadow of passing the exam, so it’s difficult to introduce historical materials widely; The status of history subject is not important, so teachers and students ignore history subject; What’s more,there are factors such as teachers’ professional level is not enough so that interfere the historical material applications can make effect better in the history class. Aimed at the existing problems in the application, the author separately from the early stage of the historical method of preparation and application of historical materials, two generous face problems put forward some constructive Suggestions. In the preparation of historical sources of teachers should be selected more accurate, more diverse forms, theme is more close to the historical lesson mark as teaching materials, in the process of application of historical materials have to be more careful service for students, more colorful for the teaching diligently.In a word, the application of historical materials in high school teaching is a very effective way of teaching, it can cultivate students to form a "the theory from the history" historical thinking system, also enrich our inflexible boring history class at present. Educators need to against the existing problems from changing their own attitude to improving skills to promote the application of historical materials in a line of teaching, at the same time,We also believe that the application of historical materials for teaching history can get a new start.
