As an important part of China’s excellent traditional culture,ancient poems,with their beautiful language and rich content,occupy an important position in high school language teaching,and their value to the cultivation of language core literacy is self-evident.Taking language core literacy as a perspective,improving the problems in teaching ancient poems can better cultivate students’ language core literacy and provide methodological reference for teachers to teach ancient poems.This study takes language core literacy as the foothold and takes high school ancient poetry teaching as the research object.By conducting a survey and research on some students and language teachers in the senior class of W High School,we find the problems and causes of the current high school ancient poetry teaching,and propose strategies to optimize ancient poetry teaching in response to these problems.The structure of this thesis is as follows.Introduction: This part firstly introduces the reason for choosing the topic,the significance of the study,and defines the relevant core concepts,followed by a summary of the current situation of high school ancient poetry teaching and language core literacy research,and finally elaborates the theoretical basis and research design of this study.Chapter 1: This chapter designs a questionnaire based on the theories related to language core literacy and ancient poetry teaching,and conducts a survey on students in the senior high school section of W High School in four dimensions: language construction and use,thinking development and enhancement,aesthetic appreciation and creation,and cultural heritage and understanding,and analyzes the results of the survey accordingly.The interview method was used on the teachers’ side in order to identify the problems on the teachers’ side in teaching ancient poetry.Chapter 2: Based on the results of the students’ questionnaire and the teachers’ interviews,the problems of teaching ancient poetry in W High School were summarized.In terms of language construction and application,teachers do not guide students to sort out and integrate the knowledge points of ancient poems,and neglect the cultivation of students’ language skills;teachers weaken the cultivation of students’ thinking skills and do not pay attention to the cultivation of thinking quality,which is a problem at the level of thinking development and enhancement;in terms of aesthetic appreciation and creation,teachers have modeled the appreciation of ancient poems in the teaching process,and lack training for students’ aesthetic creation;in terms of the appreciation of In terms of cultural transmission and understanding,teachers’ cultural transmission is homogeneous and their cultural understanding is superficial.In view of the above problems,specific analyses are conducted to find the causes of the problems.Chapter 3: This chapter proposes a series of feasible optimization strategies for the above problems and causes of teaching ancient poetry in high school.Cultivating language sense,constructing language theory,and strengthening language use are the optimization strategies proposed for language construction and use;while imagining images,sticking to words and phrases,and inspiring questions are conducive to cultivating students’ thinking ability;adopting the methods of multiple hooks,comparative reading,and multiple writing and communication evaluation can enhance students’ aesthetic appreciation and creative ability;through the use of multimedia resources,creating colorful cultural activities,and By using multimedia resources,creating activities,exploring cultural connotations and creating cultural atmosphere,we can cultivate students’ ability to pass on and understand culture.Finally,the conclusion and appendix of this thesis are presented. |
