A Casework Study On The Resocialization Of Community Corrections Clients

With the continuous development of society,people ’s thoughts are changing.In the field of punishment,the voice of humanitarianism is rising.The human penalty system has experienced a period of retaliatory punishment,deterrent punishment and then transition to educational punishment,reflecting the humanization of the penalty system.In this process,the system of community correction,which rose and developed in European and American countries,has gradually developed in China.In recent years,the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has further promoted the reform of the community correction mechanism,built a community correction center and set up a community correction education base.Through the government ’s purchase of social services,a large number of professional and professional social workers have been introduced.They are responsible for docking community correction objects,formulating refined educational assistance programs for them one by one,and providing social services such as accurate home-based employment guidance,vocational skills training,psychological counseling,improvement of neighborhood relations,and maintenance of family relations.It has laid the foundation for the smooth realization of the goal of resocialization of criminals.In this study,L community in Guangxi X community is taken as the research object of community correction social work.Through interviews,observation and case analysis,the problems and needs of the re-socialization of community correction objects who commit cyber fraud are summarized.On the basis of summarizing the problems and needs,the ecosystem theory and social support theory are used to conduct in-depth analysis of the problems faced.The staff of the judicial office and the social workers with many years of social work service experience are investigated to collect data and complete the collation and induction.Based on the investigation and interview method,the case practice investigation is intervened to help the case correction object,establish a positive attitude and actively participate in social activities.Return to society,improve family relations,and ultimately achieve a benign re-socialization of correctional personnel.The research shows that community correction work is conducive to the re-socialization of correction objects.At the same time,it is also necessary to see that due to the influence of their own factors and social network support,re-socialization is facing many difficulties.The main problems faced by the re-socialization correction objects include identity problems,inferiority complex,professional identity problems,insufficient social relationship management ability,and strong cognitive bias.The poor effect of the re-socialization process is deeply affected by the above problems.The above problems need to be improved and alleviated through several aspects,especially in community correction work.Therefore,it is concluded that from the perspective of government,social support network,judicial social work team and classification service mode.It is hoped that this study can provide help and support for future community correction work at the theoretical level and in the re-socialization of community correction objects.
