A Study On The Application Of Case Work In Juvenile Community Correction

Nowadays,the juvenile crime as a serious social problem more and more attention by people.Teenagers are the hope of the motherland and the future, many juvenile delinquency is just temporary impulse and cognitive deviation, according to the characteristics of the teenagers we must develop the appropriate work of community correction. Social work as a helping service activities is based on scientific knowledge, and uses professional method, and case work as one of the basic methods of social work, claims to individualized way to help those who need to solve difficulties and problems, and this corresponds to the youth community correction request. Correction for different objects of different problems, using the method of case wore helps the crime of teenagers transformation and regression, is a good way to deal with juvenile crime problem.In this paper, crime youth group is the research object, the author uses some social researches,for example the method of literature, participatory observation method, interview method and case study, and tries to use the case of social work into the youth community correction, through in-depth analysis of the case, deals the whole working process of correction, using the theory and practice skills such as recording, research and reflection, the author uses the knowledge of case work to correct criminal teenagers misbehavior, and makes it return to normal growth road. At first, this paper discusses the present situation and main problems of youth community correction in our country, in which applied to the necessity and advantage of the case work to youth community correction, and then the author choses a case of juvenile Y as an example, detail analysis the specific conditions of the case work application in the youth community correction work, full records the whole process of practice from the case to the end, according to the case show, concludes that case work’s value concept, the theory model and process technique are applied to the youth community correction method and gives the concrete countermeasures and suggestions. Article tries to effectively apply case work methods to youth community correction work, in order to make up for the inadequacy of the current youth community correction, ensure good correction effect, hope to provide some meaningful reference to the research on the concrete practice process of the youth community correction.
